Uncommitted. McBride stands at a lanky 6’1” 165lbs with lots of room to fill out. On the mound, he utilizes a medium arm swing that he timed up fairly consistently from a ¾ arm slot. Really sinks into the back leg down the mound, which in turn drops the arm slot a touch and creates a tough angle for opposing batters. He attacked hitters with a 2 punch arsenal of a fastball and changeup. The fastball worked 82-84, topping out at 85 with plenty of armside run that jumped out of the hand and caused some uncomfortable at-bats for opposing hitters. Off of the fastball, he worked the changeup in at 78-79, with similar movement to the fastball but a bit more depth. It was a quality 2 pitch attack, and as he develops feel to spin, it should be a fairly complete arsenal. Athletic mover on the mound with tons of projection left
