2025 Toronto Fall Invite
2029 C/RHP Matteo Harrison-Van Boort will be a player to watch in the coming years out of Ontario’s 2029 Class. The HPP Tigers product excels on both sides of the ball and it’s an athletic look at 5-foot-9, 160-pounds and still just 14.4 years old. Harrison Van Boort put together pop-times of 2.12-2.26 with a velocity of 71mph, a massive improvement from last fall. Offensively, the right-handed hitter was on-time more often than not with direct hands and bat speed, creating a peak exit velocity of 88mph and average of 81.8mph. His two quality rounds of BP were showcased with a Sweet Spot% of 46% and Line Drive% of 38%. On the mound, the arm strength is evident and it’s an easy, minimal effort delivery with a clean arm. The fastball was up to 82mph and paired it with a curveball and changeup. Some of the top metrics on Ontario’s 2029 Class and player to watch next summer as the class begins to come into the spotlight.
