Drew Wagner, LIPSCOMB ACADEMY (TN), 2028 / Positional Profile: 3B/2B Body: 6-1, 185-pounds. Strong foundation all around. Should add and retain muscle well with age. Hit: RHH. Pre-pitch he uses a wider base that allows him to keep his balance even throughout the swing. His hands are active behind the body as a timing mechanism, coming set in a load position at footplant as the swing launches. Driving his back knee down into the ground. Does not get cheated, getting his swing off every time. Plus bat speed for his grade with the present ability to drive the ball into the gaps. He matches the plane of the ball well, able to get to both low and high pitches. Will be fun to watch him develop as he gets further into highschool. Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 71.8 mph. 259' max distance. Arm: RH. INF-86 mph. 3/4 arm slot with developing arm speed, just scratching the surface. Defense: Confident in his actions, arrives on time with good speed through the ball. ATH: 6.91 runner in the 60. 1.81 and 4.45 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.

Wider stance with his weight favoring his backside 60/40, hands begin held high above rear shoulder. Large leg kick stacks the rear leg and puts the hands into a loaded position. Back half launches with a great mix of rotation and linear movement into the front leg generating a lot of rotational acceleration. aggressive path through the zone, but is controlled enough to use the middle of the field. Also showed a shorter swing for my contact. Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 77.6 mph. 301' max distance. Arm: RH. INF-79 mph. Glides to balls to both sides, has excellent early presentation of the glove with great footwork. Defense: Quick and accurate footwork that funnels the ball to the center of his body very well.
