Jackson Ritz, Clifton (TX), 2027 Positional Profile: 3B/SS RHH/INF good build to add strength. Plus runner with quickness to steal bases. Moves well on baseball field. Solid defensive player developing, shows actions. Arm strength will improve, can quicken improvement with long toss program. Solid hit approach and swing mechanics. Projects to have solid bat/power combo in future. Good player developing, solid tools present. Body: 5-8, 160-pounds. Lean, solid build/frame. Expect a stronger build with added strength in the future. Good physical projections. Hit: RHH. Toe tap stride, lands in good position to hit. Rotational back foot, drives to toe with rotation getting lower 1/2 involved. Hits into firm front side with good upright posture at point of contact. Barrel/hands in good launch position. Takes solid path to hit zone. Can improve using all fields, little pull oriented at times. 66.5 mph bat speed with 17 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 82.6 mph. 354' max distance. Solid bat/power combo in future with upside. Overall solid hit approach and swing, gets pull conscious at times, work to firm ability to use all fields. Good hitter. Looking for bat speed to increase with added strength. Arm: RH. INF-81 mph. Arm works fine, fair arm speed. Shows ability to throw from angles when on the move. Recommend long toss program to increase arm speed and raw arm strength. Defense: Feet work well getting to baseball and breaking down to field. Would like to see L foot little more in front of R foot when fielding. Play thru baseball with feet consistently when fielding. Solid actions that can be firmed. ATH: 6.53 runner in the 60. 1.59 and 3.69 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Quick start. Moves well. Quiet head and form. Stolen base threat. Jackson Ritz, Clifton (TX), 2027 Positional Profile: 3B/SS RHH/INF…will add needed strength in future. Solid defender in future, moves well to baseball, actions. Like the approach to hit, simple, on time creating line drive contact. Athleticism present, will be plus runner in future. Fun player to watch develop. Body: 5-8, 155-pounds. Good physical build/frame to add strength. Athleticism present, good mover. Hit: RHH. Open stance to start, lands in good position to hit. Rotational back foot, decent job of using lower 1/2 in swing. I would suggest trying to see if some linear movement to back foot can be incorporated into swing increasing effectiveness of lower 1/2 and back hip. If not comfortable with movement, not a big deal. Feel like there may be an opportunity with lower 1/2. Hits into firm front side with good posture. Like the hit approach. Solid swing, contact approach creating line drive contact. Barrel/hands in good launch position, takes good path to zone. 70.3 mph bat speed with 19 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 90.0 mph. 344' max distance. Good approach to hit. Line drive contact created, all field approach with feel for barrel. Will develop ability to impact baseball in future with added strength and physical maturity. Good hitter. Suggest trying to incorporate linear movement to back foot, feel lower 1/2 involvement can be improved. Arm: RH. INF-80 mph. Work to develop ability throw from all angles. Arm works well, will continue to improve raw arm strength. Defense: Feet work well getting to baseball, nice 1st step. Hands work fine fielding. Good job of playing thru baseball with feet. Shows body control and agility. Good defender in future. ATH: 6.83 runner in the 60. Solid start, runs well, speed will improve some with added strength and physical maturity.

Jackson Ritz (Clifton, 2027), a 5'8", 155-pound 3B/SS, is an athletic infielder with room to fill out his frame and add strength. At the plate, he keeps it simple with a solid, on-time approach that produces consistent line-drive contact to all fields. His swing works well, with a firm front side and good barrel control, but adding some linear movement to his lower half could unlock more power. He’s already showing potential with a 96 mph max exit velocity and a 344-foot max distance. Defensively, Ritz moves well with a quick first step, solid hands, and good body control. His arm strength (80 mph across the infield) is solid, and he can improve by working on throws from different angles. He’s a 6.83 runner in the 60 and should get even quicker as he gets stronger. Ritz is a gamer who’ll be fun to follow as he keeps developing.

Jackson Ritz, Clifton (TX), 2027 Positional Profile: 3B/SS Jackson shows lots of promise as a freshman. He's a good athlete that runs well and has the potential to develop into a quality INF and power bat from the right side. Body: 5-7, 150-pounds. Slim and lean athletic frame with plenty of room for muscle mass to be added as he is only a freshman. Hit: RHH. Open stance and stands tall in the box with hands set up at the back shoulder. Bat rested on shoulder with good backside load and low leg lift/toe tap. Stays behind the ball at contact and has loose hands. Barrel come through the zone with an uppercut catching the ball out front. 64.4 mph bat speed with 18 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 83.1 mph. 323' max distance. Jackson shows the ability to hit the ball with power to the pull side and finds the ball with the barrell pretty consistantly. Creates a lot of backspin at contact. Arm: RH. INF-82 mph. Strong loose arm from the INF that moves well. Long arm action that produces good leverage and creates solid carry on the ball.
