Positional Profile: OF/1B LHH/OF good build/frame to add strength. Moves well, plus runner, look for speed to increase some. Defensively can play all 3 OF spots, solid range present. Solid bat/power combo in future with ability to impact baseball. Upside present with adjustments taking advantage of bat/hand speed present. Fun player to watch develop. Interesting raw tools.
Body: 5-11, 196-pounds. Solid build/frame to add strength. Width to shoulders and back. Good lower.
Hit: LHH. Rotational back foot, gets stuck in rotation hindering use of lower 1/2. Get back foot fully turned and on time to maximize use of lower 1/2. Hits into firm front leg, front foot rolls onto side of foot, falls back into heel at times. Work to keep stride foot into ground. Body leans back at point of contact, work to get more upright posture at contact point. Leaning back works against lower 1/2. Vertical launch position, barrel works around to zone creating length to swing. Recommend getting launch of barrel closer to where it starts before stride, barrel behind head allows for more direct path to hit zone taking advantage of solid bat/hands speed. Occasional barrel dump on away pitches, work to keep top hand above bottom hand with swing on balls away. 79.4 mph bat speed with 9 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 105 max exit velocity, averaged 93.9 mph. 404' max distance. Solid bat/power combo, can impact baseball. Opportunities for adjustments with both hit approach and swing. Consistent hard contact and impact will will improve with changes.
Arm: RH. OF-85 mph. Arm works fine, shows carry to throws along with accuracy. Throws were high, work on getting baseball down throwing thru cutoff man. Solid avg.
Defense: Moves well to baseball, nice job of breading down to field baseball. Good glove to hand exchange. Ability to play all 3 OF spots at next level.
ATH: 6.83 runner in the 60. 1.57 and 3.73 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Solid start, quickness to start. Good stride length showing foot speed present, nice lean forward with head and shoulders. Make sure eyes are looking forward when running. 26.70 max vertical.
