Brendan Freeman, Emerson (TX), 2027 Positional Profile: RHP/OF RHH/OF Good build to add strength. Solid athleticism present. Chance he develops into plus runner. Moves well in OF, arm strength present. Like the future bat/power combo. Development opportunities present for adjustments. Tools present, fun to watch develop. Body: 6-2, 201-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Showing strength to lower 1/2. Width to shoulders and back. Hit: RHH. Lands in good position to hit. Shows linear movement with back foot, nice job of using lower 1/2. Front foot rolls onto outside heel, work to stay in the balls of feet when hitting, Transfer energy up from ground, balance is preserved. Overall, nice base to work with and improve. Barrel/hands in good position to hit, take solid path to zone with both barrel and hands. Bat/hand speed will improve with strength. Lacked consistent barrel contact, this is hit approach related. 67.5 mph bat speed with 9 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 98 max exit velocity, averaged 89.2 mph. 341' max distance. Solid bat/power combo in future. Development opportunities present for adjustments. Will impact baseball as approach is firmed. Arm: RH. OF-94 mph. Arm works, carry to throws, arm speed. Plus arm. Defense: Moves well to baseball. Nice job of breaking down to field, solid transfer glove to hand to throw. Takes extra steps setting to throw, enough raw arm strength to quicken release. ATH: 7.05 runner in the 60. 1.69 and 3.96 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Runs well, solid run form. Expect speed to increase as he continues to add strength and matures physically. 19.90 max vertical.

Brendan Freeman, Emerson (TX), 2027 Positional Profile: RHP/OF RHP…interesting on the mound. Arm speed present. Cross step delivery, hinders command/control…can be helped. Will throw hard in future. FB shows carry up. Slider has quality spin, flashes good finish. Chance slider develops in K/swing and miss pitch. Change developing. Athletic to make adjustments, watch progress. RHH/OF Good build to add strength. Delivery: 1st base side start, cross step delivery. Spinoff finish, direction can be firmed. Front shoulder opens early, runs away from arm. Arm Action: RH. TQ/LTQ slot, full circle with some length. Arm quickness present. Good finish. FB: T89, 86-88 mph. FB will continue to add velo, will throw hard. Carry up in zone. Shotgun approach to zone, part of the cause is the amount of cross step present in delivery, struggles to repeat release point. T2471, 2318 average rpm. SL: 79-81 mph. Good spin, inconsistent finish. When landed good finish with depth. T2732, 2668 average rpm. CH: 82-84 mph. Tail/sink action, nice job of maintaining arm speed. T2205, 2052 average rpm. Uncommitted. Freeman came in relief late for Wow Factor in their quarterfinals matchup and delivered. Worked his way out of an inherited 1 out, 2 runners on jam in the bottom of the last inning of a tie game. He worked through 2 more extra innings of work before being relieved. Easily sat in the mid 80’s and touched 88 with high spin. Also, he threw a powerful breaking ball at 75-77 mph and got a lot of big whiffs on this pitch. There looks to be a lot of velocity left in the tank for Freeman, excited to see how he grows as a pitcher and in strength.
