Zachary Kroll, Colfax High School (WA), 2028 Positional Profile: RHP/3B Body: 5-8, 170-pounds. Delivery: Works from the stretch, with feet shoulder width apart, a closed front foot with the front foot pointed back and to the rubber, both feet are shifted to the first base side of the rubber, and the hands are set above the belt. Controlled, repeatable mechanics through the delivery: the front leg lifts into a high leg lift, the hands are up with the front leg, as the hips begin to coil and shift down the mound with weight. The front leg then breaks into the stride down the mound, causing the hands to break into the throw. The front foot lands closed with a bent leg on landing, causing the upper half to work up and over the top of the front leg, with a low trail leg and momentum carrying back to the first base side. Arm Action: RH. The hands stay attached to the body, working up before getting set at the letters, then breaking into the throw, with the throwing arm working behind the back, before coming up to a 3/4 arm release. FB: T83, 81-82 mph. T2402, 2272 average rpm. CB: 71-73 mph. T2588, 2415 average rpm. ATH: 6.99 runner in the 60. 1.61 and 3.90 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 22.90 max vertical.

Zachary Kroll, Colfax High School (WA), 2028 Positional Profile: RHP/3B Body: 5-8, 170-pounds. Hit: RHH. Feet are set more than shoulder width apart, both feet are square to the plate, and weight is shifted slightly back over a bent rear leg. The hands start more relaxed, set shoulder high, stacked over the back knee, the knob pointed down, and in the direction of the catcher. The front foot lifts into the load, causing weight to shift back before quickly working forward again into the swing; the hips coil slightly before staying loaded as weight shifts forward, before the front foot lands, causing the hips to flip open into the swing. The hands stay loaded shoulder high. Then are then pulled through the zone by the hips, with separation from the body working through the zone, with uphill contact on the ball. Ending with a controlled two-handed follow-through. Power: 97 max exit velocity, averaged 88.1 mph. 347' max distance. Arm: RH. INF-84 mph. Funnels the ball to the belt before shuffling while gathering into the throw; the hands then break below the letters, with the throwing arm working behind the back and up to a 3/4 arm release. Defense: Starts off in a taller athletic position on prep step, stays taller on approach to the ball, working body position behind the ball with momentum carrying back to the target. Comfortable fielding the ball out front near center frame, also comfortable fielding the ball before handed and backhanded. ATH: 6.99 runner in the 60. 1.61 and 3.90 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 22.90 max vertical.
