Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 42 in the state’s junior class. Listed at a strong and proportional 6-foot, 216-pound frame. Got the start on the mound for the Hilltoppers and tossed four scoreless innings, allowing only two baserunners on a hit and a walk while striking out seven batters. Settled in as the outing progressed striking out six straight batters and finding the zone early in counts later in the game. Earned 11 whiffs on a mostly two-pitch arsenal, the fastball sat 80-85 throughout the outing with life, showed feel to spin off a firm and tight action breaking ball at 75-78 mph. Certainly more velocity in the tank from the left-hander, especially as the weather continues to warm up; high-follow uncommitted left-hander out of the Badger State.

+ Ben Schroeder, LHP (Marquette University): Strong left-hander with feel to locate multiple pitches throughout the zone, striking out three batters across two scoreless innings. Standing at 6-foot, 205-pounds with strength throughout the frame, the fastball sat 83-85 throughout the outing with life out of the hand and feel to locate to different spots while missing barrels throughout the outing, mixed in a mid-70s slider in and around the zone flashing sharp two plane break.
