On the mound, he operates as a fluid, low-effort right-hander, utilizing a long, loose, and quick arm action from a high 3/4 release. His fastball sat 81-85 mph and topped out at 86 mph (1,944 rpm) with 16.1 inches of average induced vertical break, while his curveball played at 64-66 mph (2,193 rpm) with 12 inches of horizontal movement. He additionally showed distinct feel for a sweeper-type slider that sat 69-71 mph (2,121 rpm) with 10.7 inches of horizontal movement. Rounding out a highly projectable five-pitch mix, he flashed a short, slide-like cutter at 75-77 mph alongside a deceptive 71-75 mph changeup (1,659 rpm) that featured hard arm-side sink.
