+ INF/RHP Jack Schmanski (Grafton, 2026) was measured at a strong and athletic 5-foot-11, 179 pounds with a frame that looks to add more size and strength in the near future. Schmanski started off his impressive day by running the second best 60 yard dash of the day at 6.94 seconds. He then displayed a simple and handsy right-handed swing that produced consistent line drive contact and produced the second best max exit velocity of the day at 95.4 mph. In the infield, Schmaski showcased a quick and rangy first step, soft hands, and a strong and accurate arm. On the mound, he was up to 84 mph with some running action on the fastball and featured a curveball, slider and change up to round out his four-pitch mix. This was the first time we’ve seen the talented senior at a Prep Baseball showcase and he proved why he is a ranked player in the state and has himself as a strong follow heading into the winter showcase season.
