Was a standout throughout gameplay, consistent quality at-bats throughout gameplay, showing multiple ways to get on base. Smooth, compact LH swing. Balanced set up, fluid movements with the hands. Simple, flat swing, line drive tendencies to all fields. Showcased quality routes in the outfield, gets behind the ball, quick arm out of a 3/4 slot. Kuntz was among the biggest overall winners at the State Games this year.
+ OF Josh Kuntz (Mount Horub, 2026) ran a quick and bursty 6.88 seconds 60 yard dash which was tied for the 7th best time at the event. He then took a solid round from the left side of the plate and sprayed line drives to all fields. Kuntz profiles as a centerfielder with some twitchy hand speed and a bat geared for line drive contact and should provide value at the top of the line up at the next level.
