On the mound, Thiede was up to 82 mph with two versions of the heater and deployed a tight breaking curveball and feel for a change up. There is a lot to be excited about with Thiede as he continues to develop.

+ LHP Samuel Patterson (Sauk Prairie, 2028) stands at 6-foot, 192 pounds, with a loose, free and easy arm action from the left-side, the fastball was up to 80 mph for strikes, a curveball and change up. Solid three pitch mix with more “stuff” coming as he adds strength with how clean the arm works through the baseball.

+ RHP Ben DeTienne (Verona Area, 2028) 5-foot-7, 118 pounds with clear room for physical projection. On the mound, DeTienne sat in the low 70s with the fastball with a loose arm and repeatable delivery and feel for multiple pitches for strikes. Our staff believes his frame and overall stuff have the potential to improve significantly in the near future.

+ OF/RHP Ian McClure (Reedsburg Area) is a 6-foot-2, 199 pound athlete with projection. To start the day McClure ran a 6.87 60-yard dash, 2nd best among the 2028’s and the 6th best of the day. The right-handed hitter showed a well-sequenced swing from the ground up, feel to backspin the baseball and whippy bat speed throughout his round with a max exit velocity of 90 mph. Showed a strong arm up to 84 mph from the outfield during defense. On the mound, he showcased a three-pitch mix up to 83 mph with the fastball, a slurvy breaking ball with a two-plane break and feel for a change up.

+ RHP/INF Elijah Jourdan (Bay Port, 2028) stands at an athletic and strong 5-foot-9, 189 pound build. At the plate, the right-handed hitter reached 90 mph max exit from compact path and feel to hit. On the mound, Jourdan showed repeated feel for his right-handed delivery with a low-80s (T82.3 mph) fastball with life through the zone, a sweeping slider and change up with depth at the plate.

+ RHP/INF Tanner Bergey (Jefferson, 2028) developing game with long and extremely projectable frame at 6-foot-5, 172 pounds. Consistent barrel contact through the big part of the field with a downhill path with exit velocities in the upper 80’s. On the mound there is a lot to like and dream on in the future with a fastball that topped out at 81 mph, a tight breaking 11/5 shaped curveball at 68-71 mph, a slider 71-72 with more horizontal tilt and a developing changeup at 71-72 mph. It was a good look at the freshman with upside.

+ LHP Mason Borseth (Pulaski, 2028) would show an intriguing profile on the mound this past Sunday with present athleticism and room for physical development. Working from a sidearm slot and athletic delivery, the freshman would dominate the bottom half the zone throughout his bullpen with a four-pitch mix: an upper-70s fastball with sink and run, a short sweeping curveball, a frisbee-esque sweeper, and a changeup with arm-side fade. 6-foot-1,174-pound frame.

+ RHP/OF Ian Justman (Ashwaubenon) is a 6-foot, 171 pound athlete who ran a 7.22 seconds 60-yard dash. On the mound, Justman showed a two pitch mix, the fastball was up to 78 with a loose and fluid arm stroke and a useful change up. The projectable frame and the looseness and athleticism through the delivery indicate that Justman will be a guy to take steps in the future.
