+ SO. RHP Parker Bleck (Xavier, WI) is an impact transfer arm that saw time as a freshman at Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Standing at 6-foot-5, 210-pounds with physical strength throughout his frame and room to continue to add to his frame. Easy and athletic mover for his size with feel to repeat his delivery, stretch only, preset hip hinge into a drop and drive lower half, working in line to the plate with extension down the mound. Arm works loose and clean, working in sync and on time with arm speed through release. Showed six different pitches throughout his ‘pen, the four-seam played with life out of the hand sitting 88 mph throughout. Also showed a cutter and sinker, the cutter sat in the mid-80s with late and tight cutting action, working in the zone with feel to throw to his glove-side. The sinker sat 85-87 mph with heavy running action, flashing hard sinking action. Two breaking balls, the slider sat 76-77 with sharp and big two-plane action, the curveball sat 69-72 mph with bigger 11/5 action. Finished off his arsenal with a low-80s changeup heavy depth, averaging -0.3” of IVB with feel to locate in the zone. Starters look with a frame to maintain a heavy workload with multiple potential swing and miss offerings against either handed batter.
6-foot-5, 205 pound long-limbed frame. Consistent and repeatable delivery with a long ¾ arm slot. Fastball sat 85-88 mph, T89 mph with considerable carry as well as some arm side run. Bleck showed two different breakers that both spun efficiently. The slider was 76-80 mph and the curveball was in the low-70s with a 11/5 shape.
Final Line: 6.0 IP, 8 K, ER, 5 H
Uncommitted. Bleck was a steady presence for Xavier on both sides of the ball this past week. On the mound he tossed a complete game allowing one run on two hits, three walks and struck out 10 batters in a 6-1 win over Green Bay East/West. At the plate Black went 8-for-17 with two doubles, a triple and six RBIs.
RHP Parker Bleck (Xavier, 2024) stands at 6-foot-5, 200 pounds, with room for added physical development. During his ‘pen Bleck impressed with his stuff out of an easy arm action running his fastball up to 86.5 mph with hard arm-side run that reached 18.8 inches of horizontal break. He has four offspeed weapons in his arsenal, too: a sweeping 10/4 curveball, a tighter slider working off a similar plane, a sinking changeup, as well as a knuckleball.

Built at a highly-projectable 6-foot-4, 195-pounds Bleck is a twitchy athlete while on the bump, moving quickly. From a lower ¾ slot, Bleck’s hard-running fastball got up to 84 mph, tied for an event best, and also broke the 80 mph barrier with each of his fastballs. During his ‘pen, Bleck threw two different types of breaking balls: a curveball that he showed feel for, burying it low in the zone, and a slider that was tightly spun and slightly harder than the curve. To round out his pitching repertoire, Bleck’s changeup was also a solid pitch as he was able to throw it nicely to his arm side for strikes and he also showcased a knuckleball that flashed depth. Bleck’s projectability coupled with his raw talent makes him a name to follow as he continues his prep career.
