Delivery: Medium-high leg kick, stock delivery, front foot lands across body to create cross-fire deception.

A 5-foot-10, 206-pound frame, Kimmel tossed a gem for the Halos in their win over the Grizzlies. The right-handed pitch tossed seven innings, allowing one run, three walks, and one hit while striking out seven. The fastball sat 74-78 mph topping out at 79 mph and the curveball sat 65-66 mph. The fastball had late life to it in the zone, creating whiffs and soft contact outs, while the curveball had effective spin, being able to freeze hitters and create bad swings. The command for Kimmel was there as he pounded the strike zone attacking hitters early and often. He had to work out of some trouble in certain innings but was always able to find outs when he needed it the most.
