Milwaukee Preseason ID: Quick Hits


Prep Baseball Wisconsin Staff

On March 22nd, Prep Baseball Wisconsin hosted the largest event on the state’s showcase calendar; the Milwaukee Preseason ID at MOSH Performance Center in Franklin, WI . Nearly 180 players from across the state met in the Milwaukee area to participate in this event, a Preseason ID that consistently provides our staff with need-to-know names and players to consider for future invite-only events, like the Prep Baseball Future Games, among others.

Today, we’ll be highlighting the players who stood out here within this Quick Hits piece. Stay tuned throughout the week as we continue to break down the in-depth metrics measured at this event, with the help of our tech partners TrackMan, Blast Motion, and Vizual Edge. Each of the players listed below are uncommitted unless stated otherwise.

POSITION PLAYERS

2025

+ OF Noah Canella (Wilmot, 2025, Milwaukee Area Tech CC) put together a very solid day with the bat and with the glove on Saturday and showed why MATC pursued the senior outfielder. With the bat, Canella showcased his natural feel to hit and natural swing sequence to impact the baseball up to 94 mph max exit velocity. He was driving the ball through the big part of the field throughout his round. On defense, Canella showed off solid arm strength up to 88 mph with carry and accuracy proving there is plenty of arm strength to play center and right.

2026

+ OF Callen Tomsyck (Muskego, 2026) came away arguably the top winner from the weekend. The athleticism, and physicality ticked up over the offseason, putting on over 20 pounds of strength while lowering his run-time to a 6.61. At the plate, Tomsyck took a standout round of BP, one of the top rounds we have seen all winter, flashing innate feel for the barrel with consistent loud and elevated contact. A true two-way player at the next-level, the arm has been consistently up to 88 mph with feel for a swing-and-miss breaking ball.

+ INF Owen McLellan (Shorewood, 2026) is a toolsy uncommitted infielder in the state’s junior class. The athletic 5-foot-10, 163 pound infielder took a quality round, repeatedly finding the barrel and driving the ball through the middle of the field. The impact ticked up over the offseason reaching 92.3 mph max exit velocity. Defensively, McLellan has a chance to stick on the left-side at the next level, with speed that shows up on the field, easily covering ground, with enough arm strength up to 85 mph.

+ C/UTL Laliwa Delgado (West De Pere, 2026) showed out again in front of our staff for the second time this winter. The junior utility player started off his day by running a solid 6.99 seconds 60 yard dash. Next, he set a personal best 99 max exit velocity during batting practice showcasing his patented compact and handsy swing with tons of feel for the barrel through the hitting zone. On defense, Delgado clocked a solid 2.00 pop time from home to second base and showed plenty of arm strength in order to nab would-be basestealers. He also showed off his ability to pick it in the middle of the infield and was 87 mph across the diamond with accuracy. Delgado continues to impress our staff.

+ C Jacob Huff (Delevan-Darien, 2026) is an athletic catcher with the ability to be both an offensive and defensive minded catcher. Huff continues to impress our staff with his compact right-handed swing while producing solid low 90’s exit velocities with his line drive stroke. Behind the plate, Huff demonstrated a strong arm with a very quick release through the second base bag and was tied for an event best 1.92 seconds pop time. Huff is a guy our staff continues to be high on behind the plate.

+ INF Carter Nicolato (Muskego, 2026) is a strong and sturdy 5-foot-10, 198 pound right handed hitter who showcased some serious hand and bat speed through the hitting zone throughout his round. Nicolato averaged 91 mph exit velocity throughout his round which was 5th best for the event and exemplified how often the junior was on the barrel. We continue to like Nicolato and he is poised for a big spring.

+ OF Jackson Villarreal (Oak Creek, 2026) was producing some extremely loud contact throughout his round of batting practice. His 100 mph max exit velocity was good for 3rd at the event and 94 mph average exit velocity was good for 2nd best exemplifying how often Villarreal was on the barrel with his explosive left-handed swing. Additionally, he showed quality actions throughout his defensive round and ran a solid 7.06 seconds 60 yard dash. Villarreal is a high follow going into the spring season.

+ OF Luke Schaning (Nathan Hale, 2026) started his day by running a bursty 7.06 60-yard dash. He hit with a handsy and short hand path through the ball and registered a 97 max exit velocity which was 11th best at the event and 89.1 mph average exit velocity which came in at 14th best for the event among a group of nearly 150 participants. Schaning also offers quite a bit of athleticism and feel for all three outfield positions and it was another quality look at the junior. He’s poised for a big spring.

+ INF/OF Logan Vande Zande (Menomonee Falls, 2026) stands strong, sturdy and well built, 6-foot-3, 196 pounds with more room to fill out. The junior started his day by running a solid 7.08 seconds 60 yard dash. During hitting, he hits with extremely fast hands and bat speed through the hitting zone with feel to elevate the ball to all fields. He hit a ball 362 feet and averaged 297 feet on batted ball distance. It was another good look at the junior.

+ INF Van Vogler (Sun Prairie East, 2026) continues to put himself on the map with our staff. Vogler impressed with the bat and the glove. Vogler measured at a projectable 5-foot-11, 157 pounds and will certainly continue to add to his frame. Vogler started his day by running a solid 6.90 seconds 60 yard dash. Next, he backspun baseballs through both gaps with a quick and handsy swing. On defense, he gained solid praise with his actions to both sides with a quick first step laterally and soft hands. It was a good day for the junior.

+ C Ty Glysch (Muskego, 2026) performed well again in front of our staff. The powerful and strong junior backstop registered a 96 mph max exit velocity from a quick left-handed stroke. His 90.2 average exit velocity was good for 7th best on Saturday and the ball he hit that went 364 feet clocked in at 4th furthest. Behind the plate, Gysch turned the ball around with accuracy and quickness and registered a solid 2.01 seconds pop time. Our staff continues to be impressed with the left-handed hitting catcher.

+ INF Liam Stoffel (Kewaskum, 2026) had another nice day in front of our staff. Stoffel hit with a short and compact left-handed swing and drove the ball through the middle of the field with hard line drive contact throughout the round. Next, he continued to impress our staff with his fluidity and natural actions in the infield and displayed enough arm strength to stick on the left side with his throws maxing out at 86 mph with carry and accuracy through the target.

+ This is our staff’s first viewing of OF Connor Pangallo (Homestead, 2026) and he opened some eyes with his performance on Saturday. The athletically built outfielder ran a solid 7.00 seconds 60-yard dash, showed some arm strength during outfield defense at 84 mph and produced loud contact throughout his round of batting practice up to 84 mph. Pangallo is an interesting name we will monitor going forward.

+ C Thomas Radomski (Waukesha North, 2026) had a nice day behind the plate and with the bat. Radomski ran a solid 7.18 seconds 60 yard dash which was near the top mark among the catching group at the event. His 1.92 seconds pop time was tied for an event best showcasing a quick release and short right foot toward second base. With the bat, Radmonski’s swing demonstrated a flat and short path to the baseball and produced a max exit velocity of 90 mph.

+ C Collin Thorne (Kohler, 2026) had a notable performance with the bat and with the glove on Saturday. Thorne showcased very quick hands with a compact swing through the baseball throughout his round and was 94 mph off the barrel with an impressive 87.5 mph average exit velocity. Behind the plate, Thorne shows solid acumen for the catching position with soft hands and the ability to turn the ball around quickly to second base at 2.01 seconds.

2027

+ INF Ryan Rose (West Bend West, 2027) displays a very strong and projectable build standing at 6-foot-1, 191-pounds. He showcased his elite athleticism by clocking in one of the fastest 60 yard dash times of the winter at 6.53 seconds which led the event. Additionally, he jumped 31.6 inches for his vertical jump which was also an event best and the top mark for the entire winter. At the plate Rose has a feel for the barrel as he sprays rockets with an exit velocity of 95 mph. He is explosive in the infield with a natural look to him as he throws across the field at 90 mph. Ryan Rose has established himself as one of the premier athletes in the entire country for the 2027 class and is a middle infield prospect that is creating some buzz on the national stage.

+ C/UTL Grady Cheever (Germantown, 2027) was one of the biggest winners on the day. The switch hitter was all over the barrel during hitting with his smooth swing and hit rockets from both sides of the plate. His 97 max exit velocity was 10th best on the day and 3rd best amond the 2027’s in attendance. He hits with a very well balanced swing and produces easy pop from both sides of the plate. Behind the plate on defense he turned the ball around very quickly and got to a 1.97 pop time with ease and was 79 mph on his throws displaying impressive arm strength as a catcher. During infield defense, the top-rated sophomore displayed a clean arm stroke with accuracy and was 88 mph across the infield. He measured at 6-foot-1, 153 pounds and most certainly will add more size and strength to his wiry frame in the near future and his ceiling will only get higher when he does so. It was an extremely impressive look from Grady Cheever.

+ OF Carter Fry (Wisconsin Lutheran, 2027) continues to establish himself as a top prospect in the state for the 2027 class. Fry starting his day by running a blazing 6.58 seconds 60 yard dash which was the second best time of the event and one of the fastest times recorded in for the winter. His 27.7 inch vertical jump was the third best number recorded at the event. Fry continues to display remarkable athleticism despite the fact that he has a lot more physical development left in his frame at 5-foot-10, 148 pounds. During hitting, he hit with a remarkably smooth downhill right handed swing and showed an innate knack for the barrel producing a max EV of 95 mph. Fry is poised for a monster sophomore season and our staff is extremely high on the Wisconsin Lutheran product.

+ This is our first look at SS Michael Petfalski (Waukesha South, 2027) in a showcase setting and he performed exceptionally well at the event on Saturday. Petfalski has a compact frame with tons of twitch and quickness. He started his day by running a 6.80 seconds 60-yard dash (5th best at the event) and jumped 27.4 inches (5th best). The athletic right-handed showcased considerable feel to hit and was all over the barrel throughout his round with a well-sequenced swing. His max exit velocity was 92 mph and will continue to tick up as he continues to add strength. On defense, freshman middle infielder demonstrated super smooth actions with a quick first step to both sides and was 86 mph across the infield with accuracy proving he is a reliable defender on the routine play and who can also make the rangy play to both sides.Compact frame with all kinds of athleticism.

+ OF Joey Shaw (Muskego, 2027) looked more physical in this look since our staff viewed last. He hit with a powerful and explosive left handed swing and produced loud contact from the left side of the plate. Shaw got the exit velocity up to 94 mph and was consistently driving the ball through both gaps throughout the round. Shaw is a high upside two-way talent but did not pitch in this viewing. Our staff will be locked into his outings this spring and summer. Shaw remains as a top player in the 2027 class.

+ OF Hayden Konczal (Nicolet, 2027) is a name to know in the 2027 class. The athletic outfielder produced some of the loudest contact among the 2027’s in attendance at 96 mph max exit velocity and drove the ball 363 feet. During outfield defense, he was 89 mph with impressive carry through the target. It was another solid look at Hayden Konczal.

+ C Tyler Flemming (Waukesha North, 2027) is an athletic backstop who can hit, defend and run. Flemming started his day with an impressive 7.06 seconds 60 yard dash showing quick burst and quick turnover. He then showcased a strong left handed swing making loud contact throughout his round and produced 93 mph off the bat and averaged 87 mph. On defense, Flemming’s pop time was 2.01 seconds with a quick transfer and accurate throws on the bag. He shows an advanced feel for the catching position in general and continues to be a player our staff really likes.

+ OF Cooper Wendt (Muskego, 2027) was a big winner on the day with his performance with the bat and on defense. Wendt is a projectable and athletic 5-foot-10, 160 pounds and started his day off with running one of the best 60 yard dash times of 6.73 seconds and jumped 27.3 inches which was one of the top vertical jumps on the day. During hitting, Wendt was hitting rockets through the middle and registered an impressive 97 mph max EV. During outfield defense, Wendt unleashed a cannon at 90 mph with accuracy and carry and exemplified another impressive tool in his toolset. Cooper Wendt is a name to know in the state.

+ OF Carson Lysaght (Elkhorn, 2027) put together a solid day with the bat and with the glove. He was 88 mph from the outfield and demonstrated impressive carry on his throws from the outfield. With the bat, Lysaght used the entire field to drive the baseball and produced some loud barrel contact up to 93 mph off the bat.

+ INF Chase Muma (Wisconsin Lutheran, 2027) is a middle infield prospect that showcased lightening quick hands through the swing with a line drive approach. Muma will add more raw pop as he adds to his frame, but the ingredients are there for our staff to monitor Muma’s progress going forward.

+ INF Ethan Woller (Elkhorn, 2027) is athletic and projectable and will most definitely add to his 5-foot-9, 147 pound frame. Woller ran a solid 7.05 seconds 60 yard dash, showcased smooth actions in the infield and impacted the baseball at 91 mph with his quick right-handed swing.

2028

+ INF Cole Pettijohn (East Troy, 2028) continues to impress and open eyes with the skill and talent. The freshman showcased a natural swing and was hitting rockets throughout his round and reached 91 mph max exit velocity which is a solid number for a freshman with a 5-foot-10, 169 pounds projectable frame. With the glove, Pettijohn showcased natural feel to play the middle infield and was up to 82 mph across with accuracy and carry. The athleticism was certainly on display with a 7.23 seconds 60 yard dash, and he jumped 26.9 inches. Cole Pettijohn is only going to get stronger and more athletic which provides sky high ceiling for the 2028 prospect.

+ C Tavin Nass (Franklin, 2028) is a strong and sturdy backstop who opened some eyes at Saturday’s workout. The freshman hit with a well-sequenced and flat swing through the baseball consistently throughout the round and drove a ball with a max exit velocity in the upper 80s. Nass showed feel and acumen behind the plate and clocked a 2.01 seconds pop time with a clean transfer and an accurate arm. His hands are soft and he showed impressive feel to handle pitchers during bullpen work.

+ C Charlie Weist (Union Grove, 2028) is a long and projectable 5-foot-10, 128 pounds with considerable size and strength left in his athletic frame. Weist controlled the barrel well through the hitting zone and backspun balls through both gaps consistently throughout his round. On defense, the freshman showed impressive feel for the catching position and was able to turn the ball around with a solid 2.11 pop time with clean transfers and a smooth arm stroke through the ball. Weist impressed with the bat and the glove on Saturday.

PITCHERS/TWO WAY

2025

+ LHP Mason Sommer (West Bend East, 2025; Bryant & Stratton CC) elevated himself among with his performance over the weekend. The arm action works clean and uninterrupted with quickness, while showing feel to repeat a simple delivery with 6.5 feet of extension. The 6-foot-4, 185 pound left-hander ran his fastball up to 91, sitting 88-90 throughout his ‘pen. Showed feel to land two secondary offerings in the zone, a tight breaking curveball that was up to 78 mph and a low-80s fading changeup. Lively look for the left-hander that could generate late MLB Draft buzz heading into the spring.

+ RHP Sam Hirthe (New Berlin Eisenhower, 2025) is an athletic 6-foot, 171 pound right-hander with a loose and whippy arm and feel for his entire arsenal. The uncommitted senior, ran his fastball up to 90.5 mph with feel to locate throughout the zone. Both secondaries play and add to the pitch mix, the curveball sat 78-80 flashing big 11/5 action, potential swing and miss offering in game. The changeup got up to 85 mph and plays with heavy fading action looking completely different off the fastball while being released out of the same window. One of the top uncommitted seniors in the state with a high ceiling.

+ RHP Brady Eckert (Mukwonago, 2025) was up to 83 mph on the mound from a downhill angle from a high 3/4 slot. He repeated his delivery and arm action throughout the bullpen session and showed feel for three useful secondaries for strikes, including a curveball, a slider and a change up with depth and run. Eckert is an uncommitted 2025 who will certainly offer value to a program at the next level.

+ RHP Trenton Fischer (New Berlin West, 2026) was a big winner on the mound on Saturday. Fischer measured at a long-levered, wiry and projectable 6-foot, 144 pounds. He repeated a smooth and rhythmic delivery with arm speed and ran the fastball up to 85 mph (83-85 mph) and showed impressive command of the baseball as he was driving it through the glove. He featured a sharp two-plane breaker with feel to land. He rounded out his arsenal with a split finger change of speed pitch that would be effective to both-handed hitters. Fischer is an upside arm in the state for the 2026 class.

2026

+ RHP/3B Sam Wells (Brookfield East, 2026) was a big winner at this event. He possesses athleticism and strength with his 6-foot-1, 197-pound frame. The righty’s fastball reached 89 mph on the mound and featured a late tail. He complemented his fastball with a sharp 75-77 mph curveball and an 81-83 mph cutter with some downer action. His delivery is fluid, showcasing athleticism on the mound. At the plate, Wells demonstrates power with a well-sequenced swing and impressed us with a 98 mph exit velocity, as well as a 91 mph throw from the infield.

+ OF/RHP Elijah Gammage (New Berlin West, 2026) is an athletic 6-foot, 181 pound two-way prospect with a high ceiling. On the mound, Gammage ran his fastball up to 92 mph with ease and increased feel for the zone with his entire arsenal. The breaking ball made strides as well, sitting in the low-70s with consistent and sharp two-plane break. The changeup was thrown with intent, sitting in the low-80s, landing it in the zone. At the plate, Gammage swings an upside right handed bat, added more impact this offseason, with exit velocities reaching 97.8 mph with added feel for the barrel.

+ RHP/3B Caleb Johns (New Berlin Eisenhower, 2026) was one of the biggest winners on the day. He started his day by running a solid 7.13 seconds 60 yard dash. He then put together one of the best rounds of batting practice on the day from his compact and balanced left-handed swing. His 103 mph max exit velocity was the hardest hit ball of the day and his 93.7 average exit velocity was good for 3rd best among a group of nearly 150 participants. In the infield, Johns showcased soft hands with an accurate arm up to 86 mph. The right-handed two-way prospect also opened some eyes with what he was able to do on the mound. Johns uses a simple and repeatable delivery and was 87-88 mph with the fastball from a 3/4 arm slot. He was able to land the two-plane breaking curveball for strikes at 76-77 mph. He rounded out his arsenal with a 79-81 mph change up that he displayed feel to land. Caleb Johns is poised for a monster junior season at New Berlin Eisenhower and our staff has taken notice.

+ RHP/OF Gavin Weissenburger (Living Word Lutheran, 2026) was perhaps the biggest winner of the day. This is our staff’s first viewing of the talented two-way talent in a showcase setting and put together an eye-opening performance. On the mound, Weissenburger used a simple, repeatable, explosive and well-organized delivery. The fastball averaged 85 mph and topped out at 88 mph. He paired the fastball with a late breaking slider at 72-74 mph and deployed a 77-78 mph change up with late sink. With the bat, the junior used a simple and repeatable right-handed swing and consistently barrelled the baseball through the big part of the field throughout his round. His 96 mph max exit velocity was 14th best among a group of over 150 players. Also, he ran a 6.81 seconds 60 yard dash was good for 7th best at the event. As impressive as this was, there is more ceiling in here. Weissenburger measured 5-foot-11, 182 pounds and should continue to add size and strength. Arrow way up for the junior two-way.

+ This is our staff’s first viewing of RHP Luke Parkinson (Whitnall, 2026) in a showcase setting on the mound. The 6-foot-3, 175 pound long levered prospect put together one of the loudest bullpen sessions of the day. His delivery was smooth and fluid with a balanced leg tuck before getting down the mound with intent. He showcased an extremely quick arm and deployed an explosive fastball through the hitting zone up to 90 mph with a max IVB of 20.0 inches. The curveball flashed two-plane out pitch weapon potential at 67-68 mph. He rounded out his arsenal with a 75-76 mph change up with late fade. The arsenal will continue to refine and the stuff will continue to tick up as the long-levered right-hander matures and gets stronger. Overall, Parkinson’s performance and stuff was extremely impressive and our staff will be locked into his game looks on the mound going forward.

+ RHP Shane Kimmel (Brookfield East, 2026) had one of the best bullpen sessions of the day. The right-handed pitching prospect used an athletic and repeatable delivery and repeated with a quick and whippy arm from a high 3/4 arm slot. Kimmel drove his fastball downhill through spots and was up to 89 mph with hard arm-side life through the hitting zone. The curveball and change up tunnel well with the heater. Kimmel showed feel feel for the sharp 11/5 shaped curveball and he was able to land in and below the zone. He rounded out his three pitch repertoire with good feel for a change up with big arm side running action. Shane Kimmel has taken a massive step forward with the look he showed on Saturday, and he is poised for a big junior spring season.

+ RHP/OF Dylan Jeske (Muskego, 2026) continues to open eyes as an outfield and pitching prospect in the state. Jeske was up to 89 mph with the fastball and a quality four pitch mix including the curveball, slider and change up. The curveball has a bigger two-plane breaking action while the slider is shorter and quicker. He rounded out his repertoire with the change up that he threw with fastball intent at 79 mph. As a position player, Jeske put together an extremely loud round of batting practice. Jeske was 96 mph off the barrel with his max exit veloicty and was hitting line drives consistently throughout his round. The talented junior remains a high follow for our staff.

+ RHP Jayden Pryor (Oak Creek, 2026) opened some eyes with his performance on Saturday. The long-levered and projectable 6-foot-2, 178 pound righty was up to 87 mph from a low 3/4 slot throughout his bullpen showcasing a whippy arm through release. His 71-72 mph curveball was kept low in the zone and showed sharp and late movement to the finish of the pitch. He also deployed a sinking change up at 76 mph to round out his arsenal. There was some ease to his operation overall and our staff expects more velocity in the near future from the junior. Arrow up for Jayden Prior.

+ OF/RHP Matthew Nemec (Menomonee Falls, 2026) impressed as a two-way talent at Saturday’s event. During hitting, Nemec was backspinning baseballs throughout his round and got his max exit velocity up to 98 mph which was 7th best for the event. His 89.5 average exit velocity was good for 11th best among a group of nearly 150 players. From the outfield, Nemec was 89 mph showing off his strong arm which proves he can easily play right field. On the mound, the athletic junior ran the fastball up to 87 mph, spun a slider for strikes at 75-76 mph and deployed a split with a late bottom near the hitting zone. Matthew Nemec is a super interesting follow going into the spring after this performance.

+ RHP/INF Bradley McCarthy (Badger, 2026) started out his day by running a blazing fast 6.67 seconds 60 yard dash which clocked in at 4th best on the day. McCarthy has a short and compact swing from the right side and was hitting hard line drives throughout his round. On mound is where McCarthy continues to be an extremely interesting prospect. McCarthy deployed two different fastballs up to 86 mph. His four-seamer showcased life out of the hand with the ability to drive it through areas of the zone. The two-seam heater displayed late running action and flashed sink and boring action to the arm side. The slider was deployed 70-71 mph with sharp two plane action through the zone. It was another impressive look from the athletic two-way talent and McCarthy remains as a guy our staff is excited to see this spring and summer.

+ LHP Evan Aigner (Nathan Hale, 2026) has a super athletic, loose and fluid delivery from the left side that was on display on Saturday. Aigner gets down the mound and explodes through release and was up to 83 mph and was up to 19.1 inches of IVB through the zone showing solid carry. He spun two different breaking balls to go with the heater. The curveball was 68-72 mph and demonstrated sharp two-plan break in the zone. His slider was thrown at 70-72 mph and showcased sharp sweeping action. Aigner is an arm we continue to like and will be monitored closely this spring and summer.

+ INF/RHP Jayden Reynaldo (South Milwaukee, 2026) is an interesting two way prospect in the state and he showed some tools on both ends of the ball. With the bat, Reynaldo hits with a natural swing sequence and creates a ton of hand and bat speed through the ball and produced a max exit velocity of 94 mph, an average exit velocity of 90 mph and drove a ball 349 feet. It was one of the more consistent rounds on the day as he was consistently on the barrel. On the mound, Reynaldo showcased a three pitch mix with a fastball, curveball and change up. The fastball was driven through the zone at 84 mph. Ultimately the bat may be the carrying tool but it’s intriguing on the mound.

+ RHP Blayke Duvall (Pewaukee, 2026) is an athletic 6-foot, 166 pounds with more size and strength coming to his frame. Duvall opened some eyes on the mound with his performance on Saturday. Duvall worked with a loose and fluid delivery on the mound with some ease to his overall operation. He repeated a 3/4 arm slot and drove the fastball through the zone with life and finish to the pitch. He deployed a 72-74 mph curveball with sharp and late 10/4 type two plane break. His slider 73-74 mph showed a shorter 10/4 type shape and break than the curveball. It was a good look and Duvall has established himself as a follow and as a guy who could pop in the near future.

2027

+ OF/LHP Kingston Grisolano (Kewauskum, 2027) is a physical and explosive athlete standing at 6-foot, 190 pounds. The left-handed hitter impacts the baseball with ease, generating exit velocities up to 101.1 mph. One of the strongest left-handed hitters in the state, Grisolono has also shown feel to find the barrel in game. Defensively in the outfield, Griosolono has natural and athletic actions, attacking the baseball with speed that plays in game (6.93-runner), and a strong and accurate arm up to 92 mph from the outfield. On the mound, Grisolono showed an advanced look and feel for four pitches, a fastball up to 87.7 mph paired with two different breaking balls and feel to land a changeup in the zone.

+ RHP Lucas Weber (Whitnall, 2027) measured at a well-proportioned and strong 5-foot-9, 168 pounds. The sophomore put together an extremely impressive bullpen session. Weber ran the fastball up to 87 mph (86 mph avg), spun a slider with 2,500 RPMs with a big horizontal sweeping break at 76 mph and rounded out his arsenal by showing feel for a changeup providing a solid three pitch mix. Weber has a high ceiling due to the fact that he has smooth delivery with a quick arm and more room in his frame to get bigger and stronger. + INF/RHP Aiden Perlberg (Muskego, 2027) is a super intriguing two-way talent who measured at an athletic 5-foot-8, 152 pounds with more size and strength coming in the future. Perlberg demonstrated shortstop actions in the middle and was up to 88 mph across the infield with carry and accuracy. He showcased strong hands with a well-sequenced swing from the ground up and registered a 93 mph max exit velocity. On the bump, he was up to 82 mph with a four pitch mix for strikes and feel to execute. Perlberg was a big winner on the day with this performance. Arrow up.

+ RHP/INF Charlie Wronski (Marquette, 2027) is a strong 5-foot-11, 196 pound two way prospect inside the state’s sophomore class. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed feel to drive the ball in the air with authority, reaching 96.7 mph exit velocity. In the field, Wronski has a pair of soft hands and steady actions to pair with a strong and accurate arm up to 89 mph across the diamond. On the mound Wronski showed the ability to repeat his delivery and to locate his arsenal in the zone. The fastball plays in the mid-80s with life out of the hand to pair with two breaking balls and a developing changeup.

+ RHP/INF Colton Multerer (West Bend East, 2027) delivered his heater 84-86 mph with consistent carry and life through the zone. He paired the fastball with a sharp 12/6 breaker and a change up thrown with fastball intent with late fading action through the zone. It was a very intriguing look from Multerer on the mound. With the bat, the sophomore registered a solid 91.5 max exit velocity with a short and handsy swing that creates low line drive contact consistently through the middle.

+ RHP Blake Ulezelski (Oak Creek, 2027) was up to 86 mph with a repeatable delivery and repeatable arm slot and showcased some late running action with the heater to set up the rest of the arsenal. The curveball demonstrated hard and sharp two-plane biting action that he can land in and below the zone. His changeup is thrown with fastball intent at 78-79 mph which rounded out his three pitch mix. Arrow up for Blake Ulezelski.

+ RHP/INF Mason Lusic (Waterfored, 2027) is an interesting two-way prospect in the state who stands a long, wiry and projectable 6-foot-2, 180 pounds. Lusic produced hard line drive contact throughout his round and showcased the ability to spray the ball to all fields. Lusic is smooth and fluid in the infield and was 84 mph across the infield with a clean arm stroke and accurate arm. On the mound, Lusic ran the fastball up to 83 mph with two different breaking balls and a changeup. The feel for the four pitch mix and his projectable frame make Lusic a name to monitor going forward.

+ INF/RHP Ethan Rudolph stands 6-foot, 179 pounds with good proportions and indicators he will add more mass and strength to his frame. The sophomore two-way prospect started off his day by running an athletic 6.93 seconds 60 yard dash. He then displayed his hitability during batting practice and sprayed the ball to all fields and was up to 91 mph max exit velocity. On the mound, Rudolph demonstrated the ability to land a three-pitch mix in his fastball, curveball and change up. Rudolph’s stuff and metrics will certainly tick up as he continues to add to his frame.

+ RHP Connor Blaschko (Waukesha North, 2027) is a long and wiry 6-foot, 164 pounds projectable right-hander and was up to 82 mph with steep run and sink through the zone. His slider landed in the zone consistently at 70-72 mph with short and quick breaker. Blaschko’s number will certainly tick up once he adds to his frame.

+ INF/RHP Derrik Beckstrand (Elkhorn, 2027) had a very nice day on Saturday. The 6-foot-3, 237 pound two-way player with considerable strength throughout his frame was impressive with the bat. The fast left-handed swing showcased some serious pop with the bat and produced some loud contact by averaging 88 mph with his exit velocity and maxed out at 94 mph. On the mound Beckstrand showcased some arm strength up to 85 mph with the fastball and 3 secondaries to go with it including the curveball, slider and change up. Beckstrand put himself on our staff’s radar after Saturday’s performance.

+ INF/RHP Ayden Schneble (Wisconsin Lutheran, 2027) is a projectable framed two-way who demonstrated considerable ability to impact the baseball from a smooth and fluid left-handed swing. He produced hard contact throughout his round. On the mound, Schneble was up to 79 that set up his change up and slider out of the same window. Schneble is an interesting follow.

+ RHP Jon Pettke (Cudahy, 2027) measured at 5-foot-8, 141 and will most certainly add to his frame. Pettke was up to 82 mph from a quick and athletic delivery and really demonstrated the feel to spin the baseball with both curveball and slider up to 2,600 RPMs with sharp break. Pettke is an interesting right-handed arm.

+ RHP Jayden King (Union Grove, 2027) is an interesting sophomore with upside on the mound showcasing a super athletic delivery with a quick arm. King was up to 83 mph with his fastball, threw a curveball with 11/5 shape and break to it and deployed a change up that he showed solid feel for.

+ INF/RHP Cooper Hall (Cedarburg, 2028) has some of the highest upside in the state’s freshman class. True two-way potential from the 6-foot, 161 pound right/right athlete with a high ceiling on each side. At the plate, the right-handed has a smooth and athletic swing with a hitterish look. Defensively the freshman has soft and confident hands to pair with quick twitch and range to both sides with a strong arm for his age up to 80 mph across. On the mound, the arm action with, from a higher slot, the arm works continuous with explosiveness through release. The fastball reached 81 mph with feel for the zone with feel for two different breaking balls that both flashed sharp action. Rounding off the arsenal, Hall showed feel for a running changeup that plays in the mid-70s.

+ INF/RHP Benjamin Smet-Cooper (Westosha Central, 2028) is a strong 6-foot, 193 pound two-way prospect in the state’s freshman class. Advanced skillset for the two-way player. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has natural feel for the barrel, consistently driving the ball in the air throughout his round, reaching peak exit velocities of 93.3 mph, 5th best among all 2028 grads this winter. Defensively Smet-Cooper showed steady and capable action in the infield, teasing his arm strength, up to 83 across the diamond. On the mound the right-hander ran his fastball up to 85.3 mph, sitting in the low-80s throughout showing feel to locate the pitch in the zone. The secondaries standout, two breaking balls, and a heavy fading changeup.

+ Breakout performance for RHP Carter Unger (Kewaskum, 2028) in his Prep Baseball Showcase debut. The athletic 6-foot-2, 160 pounds has an immense physical ceiling, with plenty of room to add to his frame. On the mound, the entire operation works uninterrupted with athleticism and ease, showing advanced feel to repeat the entire delivery, crossfire finish. Feel for four pitches, an easy fastball up to 86 mph with life out of the hand and late running action. Both the breaking ball and changeup stand out as potential out pitch weapons with swing and miss traits. The curveball tunnels out of the hand playing with sharp two plane break, locating the pitch in the zone at will. The changeup never left the strike zone notable for the amount of action the pitch consistently gets. Thrown with intent in the mid-70s, playing with heavy and big action, averaging 3.8-inches of IVB and 21.2-inches of run, looking like a potential pitch that is effective against both handed batters. Rounding off an already impressive arsenal, Unger showed feel for a heavy two-seam fastball with late run, sitting in the low-80s. A must-follow in the state’s freshman class with both a high-level floor and ceiling.

+ OF/LHP Bryson Hoeffler (Muskego, 2028) turned in a very nice workout on Saturday. He started his day by running a quick and bursty 7.27 seconds 60 yard dash. During batting practice the freshman was all over the barrel throughout his round and produced loud contact up to 89 mph max exit velocity.On defense, he worked with athleticism and fluidity through the baseball during outfield defense. Hoeffler rounded out his day on the mound where he was in the mid 70’s with feel for three pitches.

+ 1B/LHP Landon Hagland (Germantown, 2028) came away from the event on Saturday as a follow. Hagland hit with a short and compact swing and impacted the baseball consistently throughout his round and was able to register a max exit velocity of 89 mph and drive a ball 306 feet. On the mound, Hagland showcased life on the fastball up to 80 mph, and paired it with a sweeping breaking ball and a fading change up with depth at the plate.

+ INF/LHP Henry Bitenc (Wauwatosa East, 2028) stands a wiry 5-foot-10, 140 pounds with plenty of room to add more size and strength in the future. Bitenc’s swing is on plane early and demonstrated the ability to spray it to all fields consistently. On the mound, it was a three pitch mix, and tight sweeping curveball and feel to get through a change up. The velocity will tick up at the freshman continues to add to his frame. It was a good look on both sides.

+ RHP/OF Dominic Barbosa (Brookfield East, 2028) is a talented two-way prospect that we viewed on the mound on Saturday. We saw him earlier in the winter working out as an outfield prospect at the South Milwaukee Preseason ID where he established himself as a follow. He did the same thing off the bump on Saturday. Barbosa was 81-83 mph with the heater, and paired it with a tight two-plane breaker and a change up thrown with fastball intent. He threw strikes with all three and the stuff is only going to tick up in the near future as he adds to his frame. It was another good look at the freshman.

+ Our staff saw RHP/INF Caleb Scheel (Mukwonago, 2028) a couple weeks ago working out as an infielder at the South Milwaukee Preseason ID. Scheel further solidified himself as a follow at that event and did the same thing on the mound on Saturday at the MOSH. Scheel worked with an up tempo delivery with a 3/4 arm slot and drove the heater in the upper 70s through the zone. The curveball showed a 10/4 quick break that he able to land in the zone and he demonstrated feel for the change up that he was able to land low in the zone. Scheel has upside in the frame and everything should keep ticking up in the near future.

+ OF/RHP Egann Sundby (Wisconsin Lutheran, 2028) is a long levered, wiry and projectable 5-foot-11, 153 pound prospect with two-way potential. Sundby showcased twitchy hand speed through the baseball and produced hard line drive contact throughout his round. Sundby registered max velocities in the upper 80s and will most certainly continue to improve those metrics as he adds to his frame. The same story can be told with what we saw on the bump, he worked with a mid 70’s fastball and showed the ability to land a tight sweeping slider and a change up for strikes. It was a solid look at the freshman.

+ RHP Cooper Schnitzler (Oak Creek, 2028) is an interesting prospect who has a super athletic and repeatable delivery from the right side. He throws good strikes with his four and two-seam fastball through areas of the zone. His curveball plays with two-plane break and gets through his running change up with fastball intent. Schnitzler was impressive and showed quality feel for pitching. Arrow up for the freshman and our staff will pay close attention to his development this coming spring and summer.
