RHP Brad Vesperman (Regis Catholic Schools, 2027): The two-way prospect possesses a strong, well-proportioned 5-foot-10, 190-pound frame. On the mound, he utilizes a straddle start and a high-intent delivery to produce big carry traits on a heater that explicitly led the entire event in average induced vertical break. His fastball sat 83-85 mph (2,101 rpm) with 19.4 inches of average induced vertical break. His curveball played at 69-71 mph (2,271 rpm) with sharp two-plane breaking action. He rounds out his arsenal with a straight changeup that sits 79-82 mph and is thrown aggressively at fastball arm speed providing a three pitch arsenal to get both-handed hitters out consistently.
