+ RHP/INF Bradley McCarthy (Badger, 2026) started out his day by running a blazing fast 6.67 seconds 60 yard dash which clocked in at 4th best on the day. McCarthy has a short and compact swing from the right side and was hitting hard line drives throughout his round. On mound is where McCarthy continues to be an extremely interesting prospect. McCarthy deployed two different fastballs up to 86 mph. His four-seamer showcased life out of the hand with the ability to drive it through areas of the zone. The two-seam heater displayed late running action and flashed sink and boring action to the arm side. The slider was deployed 70-71 mph with sharp two plane action through the zone. It was another impressive look from the athletic two-way talent and McCarthy remains as a guy our staff is excited to see this spring and summer.

RHP/INF Bradley McCarthy (Badger, 2026) was one of the big winners of the day with bat and what he was able to do on the mound. McCarthy stands 5-foot-11, 174 pounds with an athletic build. He started off his day by running the fastest 60-yard dash time of the day at 6.90 seconds. McCarthy then showcased considerable hand and bat speed through the hitting zone and produced a max exit velocity of 91.4 mph which was 4th best on the day. McCarthy broke out on the mound on the summer circuit where he ran his fastball up to 88 mph with a big breaking ball. While his velocity was down from the summer, the stuff showed through flashing three usable pitches with upside. The fastball sat in the 81-84 mph range with heavy sinking action through the zone which set up his slider with big sweeping action. Overall, it was an impressive day from the athletic junior.
McCarthy would show some impressive arm talent this weekend with a fastball that sat in the 84-86 mph range topping out at 88 mph. He would also show a slider in the low-70s. Athletic 6-foot, 165-pound frame.
