Defensively, Taske is an easy mover who works cleanly around the ball with soft and reliable hands. Throws across the infield were accurate and true through the target. Taske feels like a reliable middle infield defender presently and in the future.

INF Brock Taske (Oak Creek, 2029) was a standout underclassmen that came away a follow prospect for our staff. Standing in at 5-foot-7, 143-pounds with clear room to continue to fill into his frame. At the plate the right-handed hitter took a quality round of BP showing feel for the barrel while consistently driving the ball on a line throughout the round, showing advanced feel for a clean and repeatable swing for his age. Defensively Taske looked the part of a sure handed defender in the infield showing feel for the pocket with clean actions and feet to pair with the ability to make plays on the move to either side. The arm plays athletic and accurate from multiple slots and angles with some arm strength up to 77 mph from across the diamond.

Defense: Two hand gather, smooth funnel, has some bounce to step, quick first step laterally, gains momentum through the ball to first.
