INF/RHP Carter Hoeffler (Muskego, 2028) is a high-waisted athlete that showed well on Tuesday. Offensively, he swung a simple bat from the right side, working with a level path and a middle/pull-side approach. He was also an impressive defender on the infield, working with athleticism to the ball, while featuring confident and soft hands that are well above his years. He then was equally impressive on the mound, where he is an athletic mover downhill with a clean and loose arm that produced fastballs up to 75 mph. He also spun in a couple of breaking balls; the first being a traditional 11/5 curveball with an above-average spin rate for age and late depth. The second was a tight slider in the mid-60s with lateral break that also spun at a quality clip. Rounding out his productive four-pitch mix was a changeup with some fade to the arm side.
