Got the start for Wisconsin Lutheran and tossed a seven inning complete game striking out eight batters on three hits and two walks. Filled up the zone with two pitches across the outing, the fastball sat in the low-80s T84 mph with, showed feel to spin a two-plane breaking ball in the low-70s. An upside left-hander to follow inside the state’s sophomore class.

LHP Colton Meier (Wisconsin Lutheran, 2028): The southpaw features a projectable 6-foot-2, 182.8-pound frame. On the mound, operating with a hybrid delivery, utilizing a balanced leg lift and a drop-and-drive lower half that works directly in line to the plate. Throwing from a full arm action and a three-quarter slot, he generates life out of the hand with late run on his primary offering with the fastball sitting at 80-83 mph and touched 84 mph (1,998 rpm) with 8.5 inches of average induced vertical break, while his curveball played at 70-72 mph (2,047 rpm) with 11.7 inches of horizontal movement. He also spun a 70-73 mph slider (1,681 rpm) with late action, and deployed a 74-76 mph changeup (1,650 rpm) that produced 13.1 inches of average induced vertical break.
LHP Colton Meier (Wisconsin Lutheran, 2028) is a long-levered left-hander with considerable upside. His fastball topped out at 78 mph, showing running action and feel for the strike zone. Meier pairs it with a swing-and-miss curveball that features strong depth, and a low-spin changeup that adds deception. As he continues to develop physically, Meier is a name to keep an eye on in Wisconsin’s 2028 class.
