Standing at 6-foot-2, 182-pounds with some strength to the frame and more room to fill in as he matures. At the plate the left-handed hitter swings a smooth with some advanced bat speed for his age averaging 67.4 mph throughout his round with some feel to drive the ball in the air through the middle of the field with some present impact reaching a max exit velocity of 92.9 mph. Defensively at first showing steady feel with an athletic arm action. On the mound the left-hander was equally, if not more impressive. Flashing feel to repeat and athletic delivery to pair with a clean and athletic arm action with clear arm speed through release. The fastball sat in the upper-70s T80.3 mph with life out of the hand, the breaking ball stood out as one of the best pitches of the day. Thrown with intent with feel to land in the zone with sharp two-plane break averaging 17.9” HM and spinning the pitch at 2,404 RPMs on average. Also showed feel for a fading changeup in the low-70s.
+ LHP Gabriel Seifert (Jefferson, 2029) is long and wiry and will add considerable size and strength to his 6-foot-2, 170 pound frame. Seifert ran his fastball all the way up to 77 mph with a repeatable delivery from the left side. He also showcased impressive ability to spin a slider (62-63 mph) with an average of 2,412 RPMs with big horizontal movement. He rounded out his arsenal with a change up thrown with fastball intent. Seifert is an interesting prospect in the state for the 2029 class.
