One of the top uncommitted infielders in the state's incoming senior class, the LHH shortstop features a balanced setup in the box and a medium stride timing mechanism. Stoffel hit with a short and compact left-handed swing and drove the ball through the middle of the field with hard line drive contact throughout the round. Next, he continued to impress our staff with his fluidity and natural actions in the infield and displayed enough arm strength to stick on the left side with his throws maxing out at 86 mph with carry and accuracy through the target.

+ INF Liam Stoffel (Kewaskum, 2026) is a lean 6-foot, 168-pound left-handed hitting infielder. Clear and obvious room left in the frame and the athleticism has ticked up over the past year. At the plate, the lefty took a controlled and natural round of BP, with fluidity and balance throughout the swing. Feel for the barrel was evident throughout the round, consistently on the barrel with rising line drives through the middle of the field. Defensively the infielder showed to be a quality defender with some arm strength up to 81 mph.

Arm: RH. INF-81 mph. Low 3/4 slot, compact.
Defense: Good clock and actions, soft hands, clean, softness to hands.

Body: 6-0, 147-pounds. Long frame, thin build, room to add throughout, athletic levers.
Hit: LHH. Tall setup, leg lift load, aggressive footplant, balanced finish. Loose, free and easy, short path into the zone early, easy extension through the ball, drives it through both gaps. 59.2 mph bat speed with 16 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 78.2 mph. 310' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-79 mph. Loose arm action, whippy, low 3/4 slot, plays with life out of the hand.
Defense: Softer hands, moves easily with fluidity, gains momentum through the ball with quality footwork towards first base.
ATH: 7.35 runner in the 60. 24.60 max vertical.

Body: 6-0, 150-pounds. Wiry build, will add to his athletic frame.
Hit: LHH. Balanced setup, quick leg lift, gets to hitting position on time. Loose and rhythmic, gets on plane with the ball early and stays through it through contact, sprays line drives to all fields. 60.2 mph bat speed with 15 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 86 max exit velocity, averaged 77.6 mph. 267’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 73 mph. Short arc, 3Q slot, works from multiple angles.
Defense: Feet work in rhythm, funnels ball to midline, plays through the ball.
Run: 7.33 runner in the 60.
Stoffel was all over the barrel on Thursday going 2-for-2 during his first game of the weekend. Simple and smooth left-handed hitter with natural feel for the barrel. Stays through the ball well with the ability to go the other way. Projectable frame with room to fill out.
Stoffel is a high-waisted, long-limbed athlete with smooth actions in the field who showed well during the 13U PBR at The Rock Summer Championships. Starting shortstop showing range and mobility, moved well on ball up the middle and on backhand in hole showed arm strength with strong throw off the back foot with a quick release.
