RHP Mason Durst (Barneveld, 2028): Projectable 6-foot-6, 176.6-pound frame. On the mound, operating with a medium tempo delivery and a high leg tuck, loading deep into his back hip before landing with cross-fire to the plate. He throws from a short arc and three-quarter slot, utilizing a quick arm to generate effortless late life through the zone. His fastball sat 81-84 mph (1,604 rpm) with 12.3 inches of average induced vertical break, while his curveball played at 62-64 mph (1,953 rpm) with -16.5 inches of horizontal movement. He also folded in a 66-68 mph slider (2,107 rpm) that tunneled well from the same window, yielding 10/4 shape and -13.4 inches of horizontal movement. Showcasing a fastball that already reaches 84 mph is well beyond his years, making the 2028 prospect a standout arm among his peers.
