Bickham stood out during the workout portion of the 2025 Central California Preseason All State event where his athleticism, defensive tools and offensive tools all stood at or near the top of any player in attendance. This live look showed really well how those tools can play in a game environment with Bickham working four high quality plate appearances including a pair of BBs, a solid line drive single to RCF and finally stung a one hop grounder at the 3B. Bickham uses a hip/upper body oriented swing with hands that work well to provide leverage through the middle of the field allowing his solid approach/feel for rhythm to play in game and showed solid spin recognition. Defensively, his actions are athletic with clean hands and shows the arm strength/accuracy/feel to throw from multiple slots to say at the spot long term and can defend in game showing range to his glove side, coming down hill and turning double plays. Bickham profiles as a strong to impact defender at a premium spot with a top of the order offensive profile that makes him a must follow in the 2027 recruiting class.

Brady Bickham, Damien (CA), 2027 Positional Profile: SS Impact in his RH bat with power profile while flashing hit tool. Solid INF profile that should stick on left side. Intriguing ceiling. Body: 6-0, 176-pounds. Athletic present build with some present strength Hit: RHH. Narrower set up with taller posture featuring small knee bend and hip hinge. Higher back elbow with hands set low around shoulder height with flat barrel close to his head/neck. Sits into his rear leg to begin the load with a medium sized leg kick while hanging slightly. Hands drop down into the slot and backward to separate from body. Sinks into his legs during the turn with tilt in his body at finish. Present bat speed with quickness in the turn. Hand path and barrel path both work uphill with feel for lifting the ball with authority. 70.1 mph bat speed with 24 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 98 max exit velocity, averaged 95.3 mph. 370' max distance. Uphill path is geared towards creating hard contact in the air while showing a feel for rhythm/timing to get there consistently with carry. Power plays from the pull side to middle of the field with more to come as he matures. Arm: RH. INF-86 mph. Length in path with loose quickness through the throw. Releases from lower slot and can drop down. Ball has carry with present strenght shows left side of INF profile. Defense: Sound body control with good feet, soft hands, feel to play laterally/downhill with comfort. Flashes the potential to stick at SS long term with 3B fall back. ATH: 7.10 runner in the 60. Drives low off the line with athletic operation that maintains stride length/speed throughout.

Another Inland Empire product who made the trek out to the High Desert to showcase his stuff the talented rising '27 out of the Damien program was uber-interesting with the quality of his performance. Bickham checks in as a present 6' 176.4 lbs. prospect with a 7.1 60, 86 MPH INF arm velocity/consistent accuracy from SS and the actions in his hands/feet to profile a long term SS/3B defender. But, when he stepped in the box for BP that was really where Bickham opened my eyes with a slightly uphill swing that generates lift with impact the metrics a rising '27 like Bickham can produce are going to catch plenty of eyes beyond just mine. Reaching 98.5 MPH on his max EV while averaging 95.3 MPH that produced a 100% hard hit rate plus a 370' max distance on a ball that one hopped the wall in deep LCF. Bickham gets to his impact from a quick turn that produces 25.3 G's of rotational acceleration and 73.5 MPH of bat speed with 21.9 MPH of hand speed. The tools for Bickham are very loud and while in a showcase setting you might not always post the strongest results even without those Bickham left the event as one of the most intriguing names to know for the 2025 spring season and going forward.
