Delaney put on a show going 3-3 (3B, 2B ,1B) flashing explosive tools and plus athleticism. Standing at 6-0, 180 his physical play well on the field and his impressive body control with strong, athletic ability give him an advantage on the field. Delaney has a strong swing w/ power to all fields. All of his hits came to his pull side, working counts and consistently ready to drive a pitch in the gap. His swings are repetitive and flashes extremely quick bat speed with controlled aggression. He creates lift consistently and can adjust his plane on offspeed pitches. His plus speed allows him to be able to take an extra base and be aggressive for a SB. The upside is there for him to be a serious threat on offense in the next level. On defense he is able to get to fly balls well and has an accurate arm as he would nail a runner at home to save a run. Delaney is an exciting player to keep tabs on with his upside.
