Kenady lived on the barrel all game long against the Broncos. It began when he roped the first pitch of the game back up the middle for a single. He later doubled, one hopping the wall in LF and also smoked a ball to third base, giving him three loud barrels on the afternoon. Kenady has quick hands when firing through the zone and is able to turn on inside pitches and not get beat on the inner half of the plate. He creates whip with the barrel that gives him some pop in his bat as he has 10 career HRs since joining varsity back in 2023. He is a natural athlete, playing also basketball and football during his HS career. His athleticism really shines on the baseball diamond where he moves with good actions and with speed both out of the box and on the base paths. At SS, he looks the part, converting on all balls hit to him and also made a nice back hand play look a lot easier than it was, as he got rid of it quickly and made a strong and accurate throw to 1st. In 33 ABs as the Lancers leadoff man, Kenady is hitting .303/.351/.515, with 2 2Bs, a 3B, and a HR.
