Sipe was a solid performer at the 2024 Ventura County Uncommitted Game & 2025 Central California Preseason ID where he showed off his solid athleticism, baseball tools and interesting skill set during the workout portion of the event, but did demonstrate some need for polish during the game-setting. Getting a second look at the LH hitter in a game environment I could quickly see the development he has made for his game feel to hit, instincts defensively and confidence running the bases. Sipe took three strong at bats over the game including collecting a pair of singles (hard grounder in the 5-6 hole, solid grounder up the middle where his speed helped him earn a hit) and then stung a hard L-8 in his final at bat flashing the gap to gap impact he has that will profile to 2B/3Bs when he finds the gaps or beats the OF defense. Sipe is solid to strong runner who has burst and runs very well underway which in addition to helping him pick up a pair of hits, helped him swipe multiple bases including 3B and made two really impressive catches in the OF including a diving catch on a shallow flare in LCF which looked like a sure bloop hit before he made the spectacular play. Sipe moves well inward, laterally and even displays a feel to go back taking away a well struck ball to the warning track region in straightaway LF. His arm is solid which could handle RF, but would profile best in CF/LF and when you add in the quality potential of his LH hitting profile the athletic Seraph OF is a solid 2026 name to keep eyes on from the Ventura County region.
