Vizual Edge: 67.89 Edge Score
I’ve been quite bullish on the profile and makeup for quite some time now as it has only gotten better with each look. Athletic 5-foot-10 frame with present athleticism and wiry strength throughout along with a high-level hit tool. The sophomore was the focal point for the Landmark offense as he went 2-for-2 with 2 singles, 2 BB, and 2 RBI. The switch-hitter creates great separation at the plate with ability to stay balanced and feel to manipulate the barrel in-zone. Fluid, fast hands with immense barrel feel and great use of the entire field stand out. The approach for Lee, an ultra-competitor in the box, has always looked the part with very little swing-and-miss and advanced zone awareness, and ability to handle velo/spin. Two-way profile was on display as well as he pitched 3.0 IP of 1-run ball which were pivotal for the War Eagles as they took down Trinity Christian for the first time in eight years. Fastball shows arm-side run through the zone at 82-84. Curveball creates depth at 70-71 and plays well of the fastball. Splitter mixed in at 71-72 with tumble. Lee set the tone for the season with a breakout well under way and will be a must know name come August 1st.

Back in the playoffs last spring, Lee looked the part as a freshman for Landmark Christian in the heart of the order as he would go toe to toe with a mid 90’s arm. Fast forward a couple months later and Lee has carried it into the summer circuit with multiple barrels from both sides of the plate across Southeast Select. Wiry and athletic there is plenty more to project upon for the switch-hitter. Lee shows great balance in the stride with fluid hands with some whip in the barrel present and accuracy alike. Innate pitch recognition stands out with an advanced understanding of the zone in a mature all-fields approach to match. Lee also holds positional flexibility and offers the ability to play a multitude of different positions at a high-level. The dual-sport athlete and QB1 looked the part for Canes Southeast this week across 5 + different positions throughout the infield and outfield. The incoming sophomore looks poised for a breakout campaign with Landmark Christian in the spring as he has a chance to be a name to know in the class nationally in due time.
