FB: T87, 86-87 mph. Good spin that feaures some sink on his 2-seam. His 4-seam shows really good ride at the top of the zone. One of the best fastballs of the day. T2215, 2057 average rpm.
CB: 74-76 mph. Plus pitch with high spin and really good depth. Tunnels well of his fastball T2218, 1827 average rpm.
CH: 74-79 mph. Really good arm side run. A great pitch that misses barrels. T2235, 1942 average rpm.

Peek put together a strong showing out of the lead-off spot for Calhoun against a tough arm. The pesky RHH went 3-for-4 at the plate with 2 2B, a 1B, 2 RBI, and 3 R. Showing extremely quiet and simple actions, Peek snaps a well-leveraged barrel through the zone to deliver consistent impact. As well as displaying a quick trigger with present hand and bat speed with above-average feel for the barrel in a mature all-fields approach. It was a really good look at one of the top ‘27 two-ways in the box Friday night.

Uncommitted. Peek has had a strong start to his high school career being a key bat in the middle of the order for the Yellow Jackets, and seeing a lot of innings on the mound up to this point. Peek had a multi-hit game in game one of a big region win. Peek has a smooth/simple swing from the right side. Peek shows the ability to hit to all parts of the field. Mason has plenty of room to grow in his athletic frame. Peek will be a name to follow in the 2027 class.
