Preseason All-State Upperclass Quick Hits- Pitchers

Kale Tompkins, RHP, 2027, Creekview
Uncommitted. It’s easy to see the projection throughout the profile for Tompkins with much more to tap into towards a significant ceiling. Lean, high-waisted 6-foot-0, 181-pounds and leverages the athletic frame really well as he creates excellent extension down the mound with present arm speed from a ¾ slot. Fastball shows easy life out of the hand and will play up in-game at 86-87 (T88 MPH) with command throughout. Depth to the slider with feel to spin at 76-78 and kills spin on the changeup with tumble at 77-80. Immense projection and pitchability throughout for the uncommitted junior and a breakout junior season is well under way.

Jack Burke, RHP, 2027, Creekview
Uncommitted. The Creekview pitching staff talent runs deep as Burke joins a plethora of stout arms in what looks to be an “arm-barn” once again this Spring. Stands a physical 6-foot-0, 188-pounds with projection remaining. Quality mover and creates a deceptive look as he operates from a low slot with loose whip to the arm action. Fastball sat 83-86 and the slider paired well off it with sharp movement and bite at 73-76 (2800+ RPM). Changeup thrown with tumble at 80-83. Tossed a knuckleball at 75-77 with a budding feel to land at the bottom of the zone and acts almost as a splitter. Burke is armed with a deep mix and has a chance to contribute as he will look to fill multiple roles for the staff in ‘26.

Mason Peek, RHP, 2027, Calhoun
Uncommitted. The 2025 Future Games alum looked the part in his pen Sunday as he filled up-the-zone with feel for all three-pitches. Stands a lean, athletic 6-foot-1, 194-pounds with plenty more to project and moves really well down the mound. Deploys a longer operation with whippy arm speed from a ¾ slot and repeatability in the delivery. Fastball shows arm-side run and sat 87-88 (T89 MPH). Curveball is flipped over at 72-75 with 12/6 depth. Changeup tunnels well off the heater at 75-78 diving action and fade. The right-hander looks poised to put together a strong year in ‘26 and to find his next home at the collegiate level.

Hayes Stephens, RHP, 2027, Mt. Bethel
Uncommitted. Stephens pounded the zone with 3-pitches for strikes and innate feel for the entire mix. An athletic mover down the mound and stands a lean 6-foot-0, 170-pounds with projection remaining. Repeats extremely well out of a higher ¾ arm slot. Fastball sits 81-84 with hard arm-side run and feel to spot on the inner half of the plate to righties and changeup tunnels effectively off it at 74-77 with arm-side fade and late depth. Shows a slider at 81-83 with depth. There is pitchability in the profile with much more to project physically.

Reid Dzikowski, RHP/3B, 2027, Dacula
Uncommitted. Dzikowski compiled a strong showing on both sides of the ball and boasts strong projection in the lean, high-waisted 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame. On the mound, the right-hander is a quality mover and works from an over-the-top slot with ability to repeat the delivery well. Fastball sat 84-86 and paired it with two breaking-balls in the mid to upper 70s with variance in shape. Changeup mixed in at 76-79 with fade. At the plate, Dzikowski stays short with balance through the zone and budding feel for the barrel as he finished with a Max (92.3) exit velocity. The junior is expected to shoulder a significant two-way role for the Falcons this season.

Tyson Ganas, RHP/2B, 2027, Houston County
Uncommitted. The HOCO junior put together a quality showing on both sides of the ball Sunday afternoon. Boasts present athleticism in a 5-foot-9, 166-pound frame with real arm speed. Clean repeatable delivery and creates deception as he hides the ball well from a ¾ slot. Fastball sat 87-88 (T89 MPH) with ride through the zone and flipped over a curveball with 12/6 depth at 68-71. Mixed in a changeup with late-depth as well at 73-76. At the plate, the RHH shows a balanced load with a direct path and ability to turn the barrel over well. Sprayed the ball to both gaps and produced a max (93.7) exit velocity with a max (354ft.) distance. Ganas will be a huge piece for Coach Hopkins and staff both throughout the lineup and both on the mound as SP1.

James Sharp, RHP/3B, 2027, Fellowship Christian
Uncommitted. Sharp continues to make noticeable strides in his game as it was evident on both sides of the ball on Sunday. Stands an athletic and broad-shouldered 5-foot-11, 190-pounds with good projection throughout. Easy mover down the mound with present arm strength in a loose arm stroke and repeats well from a ¾ slot. Fastball sat 85-88 (T89 MPH) with arm-side run and plenty more in the tank. Slider creates depth at 69-71 and mixes in a changeup at 76-77 as well. At the plate, Sharp shows good balance and stays compact throughout the zone with present accuracy in the barrel. Finished the round with an average (88.8) and max (97.1) exit velocities. The junior is the model of consistency as he always performs no matter the setting and looks to carry a major role once again this Spring for the Paladins.

Landon Rawlins, RHP/OF, 2027, Cherokee Bluff
Uncommitted. 6-foot-2, 193 pounds, showed a projectable, athletic pitcher’s frame with present strength and advanced mechanics. Works from a violent yet controlled delivery with a strong base, creating easy tempo and balance throughout his motion. Arm action is loud and over-the-top, generating a downhill plane and feel for the baseball. The two-seam fastball shows slight vertical movement down the zone at 84 mph, playing harder due to his long extension and ride off the mound. Slider features decent spin with 3–8 break and pairs effectively with the fastball. The changeup/splitter plays down and in with natural fade, keeping hitters off balance and complementing the fastball well. Mechanically sound with repeatable actions, Rawlins projects as a two-way athlete with starter upside on the mound.

Sam Hubbard, LHP, 2027, Bulloch Academy
Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, showed a premium look on the mound with a highly athletic, connected delivery. Utilizes an efficient windup with strong body coil, engaging the entire frame to create rhythm, balance, and power through release. Works from a clean three-quarters arm slot, producing consistent movement on all offerings. The four-seam fastball shows firm velocity with high spin and downhill life. The slider features tight, late action, playing more as a cutter with sharp bite. The changeup stands out with excellent deception and fade down and in from a true circle-change grip, averaging only 963 RPM, giving it advanced separation and depth. Consistently around the zone with intent and firmness to each pitch, Hubbard projects as a potential future ace for Bulloch with a mature three-pitch mix and mature feel on the mound.

Johnny Deaderick, RHP, 2027, Blessed Trinity
The 6-foot-2 RHP Johnny Deaderick from Blessed Trinity showed a highly projectable frame with a clean, repeatable delivery. Works with the hands set at mid-chest with slight separation, incorporating a glove tap and a high, tight leg kick that helps him gather and stay on line. Delivers from an upper three-quarters slot, bordering over-the-top, creating a downhill plane. The fastball shows firm spin with late run in and down. The slider features tight, late cut with quick action near the plate, flashing swing-and-miss potential. The changeup stands out with deceptive arm speed and sharp depth, falling off the table with strong velocity separation. A polished three-pitch mix with physical upside and starter traits.

Nahdir Jackson, RHP, 2026, Hillgrove
Chipola College Commit. The wiry 6-foot-0, 155 pound Nahdir Jackson had an impressive bullpen session Sunday displaying real arm speed and command. Jackson will be a pitcher to watch this spring season for Hillgrove as his projection grows. The Chipola College commit threw a heavy arm side run fastball 89-91 to a slider with an innate feel for spin, 2962 RPM. Worked comfortably from the windup.

Aiden Pack, RHP/3B, 2027, Blessed Trinity Catholic
University of Georgia Commit. The lean 6-foot-2, 183 pound Aiden Pack from Blessed Trinity Catholic put together a fine bullpen session on Sunday displaying his upside. Great 4 pitch mix that he commands well. Pack is aggressive down the mound and his arm speed stands out. His arm side run fastball topped out at 92, averaging 89-91. Sinker and change stand out as good outpitch options. Slider was tight with good spin, 2300+. Overall was an impressive performance for Aiden Pack and should be a force in the Titans rotation this spring.

Carter Allen, RHP, 2027, Bremen
Georgia Tech Commit. The long levered 6-foot-3, 187 pound Carter Allen from Bremen displayed an impressive pitching session over the weekend. Has a lower ¾ quarter arm slot showing great arm speed. Great arm side run fastball running from 90-92, a sweeping slider (2500+RPM), and an above average change-up 84-86. Allen commands all 3 pitches well, working all quads of the strike zone. The Georgia Tech commit has an immense ceiling and projection. He looks ready to lead Bremen’s rotation this spring season.

Colton Burtch, RHP, 2027, Union Grove
Uncommitted. The 6-foot-0, 196 pound Colton Burtch from Union Grove showcased an impressive 3 pitch mix on the day. Commands the fastball, slider, and change very well. Can work West to East with ease from his fastball 88-90 to his slider 76-78 (2600+RPM). Can make right handers come out front early with his fading change with little spin. Delivery is smooth and balanced with an aggressive release out of the hands. Burtch has a ton of projection remaining and should be a pitcher to watch out for this spring season.

Asher Webb, RHP, 2027, Cherokee
Uncommitted. The 5-foot-9, 163 pound Asher Webb from Cherokee had a strong performance on the mound Sunday night. 4 pitch mix for Webb displaying command on his fastball, curve, slider, and change. Fastball ranged from 83-85, slider had great tight movement 78-80 (2300+), and his arm side fade changeup was impressive. Webb, a junior out of Cherokee, is a player to watch out for during the spring as his projection is high.

Chance WIlliams, RHP, 2027, North Paulding
Uncommitted. Standing 6-foot-1, 189 pounds and currently the 35th ranked RHP in Georgia’s class of 2027, Chance Williams showed a powerful and physical presence on the mound Sunday evening. The heater averaged around 87 mph, but due to strong extension of both upper and lower-half, the effective velocity touched just above 91 mph. Working from a 3 quarters arm slot, the fastball shows some two-seam action with slight sink (2100 RPM average). The slider sits 79-81 and has a true frisbee-shape with minimal vertical drop. The changeup is a quality third offering with traditional movement, and very low spin at 895 RPM allowing for great deception. He also mixes a curveball in that plays off the slider with a bit more vertical break to it, giving another breaker in the arsenal. Williams and his four-pitch mix show traits of a quality starter for North Paulding this spring.
