Uncommitted. 6-foot, 160-pounds, wiry frame, athletic, room to add strength. Controlled delivery, strides in-line, high ¾ arm slot. Started on the mound going 3.1 innings with a line of 7H, 7R, 3ER, 3BB, 2K. Showed a four pitch mix. Fastball sat 80-82 mph, topping 83 mph. Change sat 76-78 mph with arm-side fade. Curveball was 64-68 mph with 1/7 shape. Slider sat 72-75 mph. Competed well, worked at a good tempo, arm to watch.

Delivery: Simple mover, repeats, high leg lift with tuck, tall/fall down the mound.

LHP Adam Redmond (Lincoln-Way West, 2028) is a name to know in the sophomore class. He stands in a wiry, high-waisted 5-foot-11, 156-pound frame with room for more to come. Redmond operates out of a simple, repeatable delivery with a compact arm path from an over-the-top slot. He showed a three-pitch mix throughout his 'pen, featuring a fastball that sat 82-84 mph with mostly straight action and some sink. He mixed in a curveball at 70-72 mph with sharp, 1/7 shape and depth (avg. 2,556 rpm, avg. -10" IVB), and rounded out his arsenal with a changeup at 75-78 mph with heavy fade and downer action (avg. -16" HM). A name to follow in the 2028 class.

LHP Adam Redmond (Lincoln-Way West, 2028) showed very easy movements on the mound with upside. Redmond is listed with an athletic 5-foot-11, 148-pound frame with room to add strength. The left-hander operated from a simple, controlled delivery with a tall/fall approach. He has a long, loose arm action from a high ¾ arm slot. His fastball sat 80.2-82.2 mph while topping out at 83.3 and playing up in the zone. His curveball sat 68-69.6 mph with a late break. The pitch had an average horizontal break of 7.8 inches (10.5 inches max) and a max induced vertical break of -9.5 inches. Redmond also showed a changeup that sat 70.8-72.3 mph with an average horizontal movement of -11.7 inches (-15 inches max). Redmond will be a name to keep on eye on in the coming years.
