MIF Alec Gilsinn (Marmion Academy, 2027) is an intriguing, 6-foot, 165-pound prospect that broke out on his Prep Baseball showcase debut. Gilsinn started the day running a 6.89 60 and continued his sucess in BP. The right-handed hitter was on the barrel throughout his round and showed barrel control, reached EVs up to 93 mph. On the defensive side, Gilsinn had arguably the best round, the defense is smooth, easy, and athletic, showing soft hands, and range to both sides. Tossed 81 mph from shortstop.
