A summer standout for our staff thanks to his defensive toolset, highlighted by soft hands, a high motor behind the plate, and advanced catch-and-throw, C Beckett Breseman (Prairie Ridge, 2027) would continue to cement himself as one of the better defensive backstops within the state’s rising junior class. During the showcase portion, produced poptimes within the 1.84-1.88 second range. At the plate, presented a line-drive oriented right-handed swing, showing loose hands while producing a max exit velocity of 91.8 mph. Also produced a 3.45 max RSI (second highest of the event). Athletic 5-foot-10, 162-pound frame with room for added strength. Name to follow as he continues to refine his offensive toolset.
