Uncommitted. Had quite the game on Tuesday as he showed well at the plate and on the mound against Ottawa. 6-foot, 170-pounds, room to fill out and well proportioned. Adams produced the first big hit of the game as he drove a ball into right-center to pick up a two-run double. He has a wide stance, no stride as he lifts his front foot, compact swing. Adams was able to keep the Ottawa offense in check as he picked up seven strikeouts through four innings while only allowing one run, three hits, and no walks. Clean, full arm action with extension from a ¾ slot. Controlled sidesaddle delivery with tall and fall actions, hips are stiff with some effort, high leg lift, front leg lands towards target. Uses mound for plane, has a still head with some effort in the delivery. Fastball sat 83-85 mph, has arm-side life and better command to his glove-side. Slider sat in the mid 70’s, 10/4 shape with quality action.
