A strong, 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame, Rujawitz showed well on the mound in Top Tier West’s semi-final win on Monday. The right-hander tossed three innings allowing three earned runs, four hits, and two walks while striking out two. Rujawitz had his fastball sitting 78-82 mph and curveball sitting 69-71 mph. The fastball had late ride, getting up on hitters and pairing well with an 11/5 curveball that was able to freeze hitters and generate soft contact. Mechanically Rujawitz had a quick fluid motion with clean arm action that was easily repeatable.
