RHP Cameron Armstrong (Providence Catholic, 2025) continues to show as one of the more clean-moving right-handers in the 2025 class. His delivery is clean, controlling tempo throughout into balance-point, dropping into his back-knee and gliding down the mound while remaining in-line to the plate, also creating notable hip/shoulder separation at foot-strike. Two more members of the 2025 class that impressed on Monday were RHPs Cameron Armstrong (Providence Catholic) and Finn McCarty (St. Laurence). The pair of right-handers worked their fastballs up to 80 mph while navigating the strike zone to both sides. The two freshman also showed feel for a curveball/changeup combination that should help profile them as starters for this coming spring, displaying advanced feel at times for the strike zone.
Fired a complete game win for the Upper Deck Cougars in a 4-1 win over Chicago Elite during the PBR at The Rock Championships. Armstrong pounded the zone for seven innings striking out three and allowing three hits with a quality three pitch repertoire.
