Daniel Coyle (St. Laurence), Lucas Simulick (Joliet Catholic), Charlie Rosynek (Brother Rice), Nehemiah Torres (Glenbrook North), Logan Wroughton (Mount Carmel) and Lucas Espinosa (Taft) all have the tools to stay on the left-side of the diamond moving forward and were some of the top 2026 infield defenders on the day.

Small and wiry frame with room to grow, high motor player that does all the little things. Showed throughout the game his baseball IQ and motor, defensively going after every baseball and making every play.

INF Charlie Rosynek (Brother Rice) was one of the top all-around position players at the event. The right-handed-hitting infielder impressed at the plate with a fluid, athletic, loose swing and advanced bat path; stays short and inside the baseball with a feel for the barrel. Rosynek peppered hard line-drive contact to all fields in his round of BP. Defensively, he showed off advanced infield actions, with the tools to be a high-level infielder down the road. His feet are clean and play in rhythm while showcasing confident soft hands and the ability to throw from all platforms. 2026 infielder to follow moving forward.

Body: 5-foot-3, 105-pounds.
Defense: Hands are soft and footwork is fluid. Has a good feel for the infield. Moves with rhythm and bounce.
Arm: RH. INF - 59 mph. Short arm action that is loose and quick. High 3/4 release.
Hit: RHH. Balanced, open, tall stance. Short stride to balanced launch position. Simple swing with effort. Short and quick to contact.
Power: 73.00 mph exit velocity from the tee. Line drive gap to gap approach.
