Lewis commit, ranked No. 125 in the state. Dual-sport athlete that is also a QB1, started in centerfield and hit leadoff for the Hawks, finishing the day 1-for-3 with two runs scored and a hit-by-pitch. Took impressive at-bats all day against premium velocity, looks to be a tough out, scrappy and pesky with bat-to-ball skills. Covers all sorts of ground in the outfield with athletic jumps, well above-average defender with range. Centerfield profile at the next level.
Verbally committed to Constantine Coines.
Coines showed an athletic profile this weekend, with speed that played well on the bases and in center field. Defensively, the rising senior showed rangy actions, running down flyballs that most couldn't. At the plate, the right-handed hitter has an athletic setup with a simple trigger. A 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame, the Maine South student-athlete is an uncommitted name to know.
