No. 11 St. Laurence vs. Marist

By: Tyler Defibaugh
Manager, Content & Operations/Area Scout

Cory Les, OF, St. Laurence, 2026
Louisville commit. Currently ranked No. 24 in the state. Strong and physical 6-foot-1, 205-pound frame. Batted third and played centerfield for the Vikings. Showed and advanced approach at the plate with plenty of barrel strength from the left side. Jumped on a first pitch breaking ball in his first at-bat for a long solo homer to right-center. In his third at-bat, he went down in the count 0-2, and worked the count back to even before swatting an opposite field double down the left field line to chase the opposing starter out of the game. Simple, direct path, looks to keep the ball on a line. Finished the day 2-for-3 with a double, home run, a walk, three RBI, and three runs scored.
