He has a quick first step and is able to change direction quickly to pair with easy range. Hitting out of the two-hole, Bastidas finished the day 2-for-5 with a run scored. The right-handed hitter has a fluid rhythm in the box, loading with a controlled tempo before unleashing a loose/whippy barrel through the zone. Upside infielder with already above-average actions.

Hit: RHH. Relaxed, balanced setup, quiet pre-pitch actions. Athletic hands, loose and stays through the hitting zone a long time. Polished approach, stays within himself and uses the whole field.
