Featuring a strong and lengthy 6-foot-6, 257-pound frame, Emerson Larson was dominant on the hill. He threw six innings allowing zero runs, three hits, and three walks while striking out five. His 85-87 mph fastball was firm with late run and it paired nicely with his 73-74 mph curveball that he located for strikes. He has a relaxed presence on the mound with a quick arm action.
Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 93 in the state. Physically imposing 6-foot-6, 257-pound frame. Got the ball to start for the Corsairs in game one and battled throughout his outing. Simple delivery downhill, throwing from a clean ¾ slot. Showed three pitches throughout the outing; headlined by a heavy 85-87 mph (T88) fastball, holding velocity throughout his start. He would also mix in a 77-78 mph changeup that flashed fading action, while rounding things out with a short 76-77 mph slider. Larson pounded the zone from start to finish in his six and a third innings of work, while not walking a single batter. An uncommitted arm to continue to watch in the state.

+ RHP Emerson Larson (Carmel Catholic, 2026) is a physical, 6-foot-6 intimidating presence on the bump with a power arm to make note of. There’s some ease and looseness to his operation, and his arm plays from a ¾ window. The fastball was one of the firmest on the day, sitting 88-89 mph and topping out at 90 mph with clear finish through the zone. The breaking ball is still developing with tight/bullet shape at 75-76 mph, along with the changeup that showed mostly straight action at 78-80 mph. Power arm with a big fastball that looks to play up.
