Southwestern Illinois JC commit. 5-foot-11, 178-pound frame, durable build with some strength in the lower-half. Came out of the ‘pen for the Tigers and displayed a dynamic two-pitch mix. The right-hander has a controlled delivery with some coil into a medium leg-lift, works in-line down the mound. Shorter arm circle in the back, high ¾ release from a tighter window. Fastball played mostly straight through the zone but showed heaviness, sitting in the low-80s and topping out at 84 mph. Curveball looks to be a highly effective offering, tunneling well off the fastball and showing sharp over-the-top action and depth, could land for strikes, sells the pitch with arm-speed.
