LHP Griffin Arnold (Oak Park-River Forest, 2026) shined during his first Prep Baseball showcase as he gave an upside look. Arnold is listed with a wiry 6-foot-2, 160-pound frame with room to add strength. The left-hander operates from a stretch-only delivery with a tall/fall approach. Long, quick arm action from a low ¾ arm slot. His fastball sat 81-83 mph with straight actions. Arnold also showed a curveball that sat 68-70 mph with an average horizontal movement of 10.8 inches.
Positional Profile: LHP
Body: 6-2, 160-pounds.
Delivery: Easy, simple delivery, short leg-lift and balance point, works in-line, front foot lands square.
