Saint Louis commit, ranked No. 91 overall in the state’s senior class. Highly projectable 6-foot-5, 205-pound frame with levers that offer all sorts of upside. Started in center field and hit in the middle of the Crusaders’ order in this look. Long left-handed swing that stays level through the zone. Ball jumps off the barrel, doubled to the pull-side and drove in two. Free mover in center field, covers ground with advanced arm strength to pair. A high-ceiling senior with tools across the board to follow.
Saint Louis commit. 6-foot-5, 205-pound long, lanky, lean-limbed athlete. Started in center field in game one of this double-header, toed the rubber to start game two. Stands tall in the box with some knee bend, lead leg lifts slightly as hands drift back. Long left-handed swing with some leverage, barrel stays in the zone. Aggressive with intent to elevate. Flashed above-average raw power, driving two balls deep to center field that weren’t off the barrel. Moved around center field comfortably, showed an average arm pre-game. Worked exclusively from the stretch on the mound, simple leg lift into a tall/fall type delivery, upright posture throughout, maintained direction to target. Arm draws down and back from the glove, finishes from a ¾ slot with some deception and loose arm speed. Fastball sat 83-84, touching 85 mph a few times early on, playing mostly straight, flashing cut. Spun a curveball at 70-71 mph, depth and late downer spin on occasion from a 1/7 plane, landed for strikes. Also threw a more lateral slider in the same velocity band, developing feel. Struck out four batters over six innings of work.
OF/LHP Hank Gomric (Althoff Catholic, 2024) is listed at 6-foot-4, 185-pounds with room to fill out in the coming years. Gomric showed well as a two-way player but it is his upside at the plate that is easy to dream on. The left/left prospect has an easy, loose swing with long-levers that work flat through the zone with a line-drive pull-side approach. Gomric was consistently on the barrel as well, leading the event with a 92.9 mph average exit velocity and his furthest batted ball traveled 357’. He also had the fourth-best average bat speed at the event at 76.3 mph. He is also a long, easy strider in the outfield who ran a 7.31 60 with a max run speed of 18.8 mph. As tall as he is, Gomric showed the ability to repeat his simple tall/fall delivery with a ¾ release. The southpaw worked his fastball up to 78 mph with slight sinking action to set up a tight 1/7 curveball at 67-69 mph and straight change at 69-72 mph.

6-foot-3, 170-pound, long-levered, highly-projectable frame. Left/left prospect, started on the mound in the nightcap for Althoff. Long arm action plays out of a ¾ slot. Fastball sat in the upper-70’s for much of the outing while mixing in a 1/7 breaking ball at 68-69 mph with slurve action. Scattered four hits and two earned runs in five innings of work, while striking out four. Intriguing left-handed bat as well, hitting out of the two-hole.
