As part of Lane's string of three straight walk-off victories, the Dartmouth commit capped off a come-from-behind effort against Whitney Young with a game-ending two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh at Kerry Wood Field. Finished the week 7-for-14 with a homer, double, five RBIs, five runs, two stolen bases, and a walk.
Verbally committed to Dartmouth College.
Decommitted from Boston College.
Boston College commit. On the week, Murray went 7-for-8 (.875) with a triple, three doubles, five RBIs, six runs scored and seven walks. His breakout game of the week came against No. 17 Mt. Carmel where he went a perfect 3-for-3 with a triple, double, RBI, two runs scored and an intentional walk.
Boston College commit. The sophomore on the week went 5-for-11 (.454) with a home run, double, three RBIs, and two runs scored. He hit a two-run home run against Archbishop McCarthy (FL), and he tallied two-hits in their 4-3 win over Sagemont (FL).
OF Henry Murray (Lane Tech) , a recent Boston College commit, took one of the most aggressive, intentful rounds of BP on the day, especially from the left-side of the plate. Murray showed off advanced bat speed and a knack for hard, loud contact elevated consistently to the pull-side of the field. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound creates all kinds of jump off the barrel, averaging 93.1 mph off the bat, peaking at 99.1 mph with his furthest batted ball traveling 370’, second-best at the event.

Body: 5-10, 175-pounds. Strength in the lower half.
Hit: SH. Balanced slightly crouched setup with a slight leg kick and minimal hand load. Controlled aggression, present bat speed, stays through the zone with big leverage and jump off the barrel to the pull-side; from the right side, similar bat speed, more of a level path but created the same kind of impact from the barrel.
Power: 99 max exit velocity, averaged 93.1 mph. 370’ max distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 82 mph. Long deliberate arm action from a 3/4 slot. Throws are accurate and on target.
Defense: Steady actions, one-hand gather to the side of his body.

At 5-foot-10, 175-pounds, Murray repeatedly ripped off hacks with intent and aggression, averaging 87.9 mph per batted ball with a 96.3 mph peak exit velocity. His furthest batted ball traveled 359 ft., which was the second-highest mark amongst all players in attendance.

Hit: SH. Balanced setup. Long stride. Aggressive swing. Stays flat through the zone. Ball jumps off the barrel at times.

Arm: RH. OF - 81 mph. Long, loose arm action. High 3/4 slot. Flashed carry on throws.

Murray drove a ball 360 feet while Mitchell launched one 352 feet. Murray, a switch-hitter, took an explosive round of BP, routinely making hard, loud contact into the pull-side gap with an athletic, aggressive swing that stays level through the zone.

Hit: SH. Advanced switch-hitter for his age. Sets up similarly from both sides of plate, wide base, short stride and maintains balance through contact. Short, repeatable swing, level path, gets extension through contact, fluid action, consistently on the barrel and ability to use the whole field. Follow 2025 bat.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity from the tee.
