Webster commit. In Deerfield’s game against Centerville (OH) he hit a double and recorded three RBIs. Yanow started on the mound against Hamilton Southeastern (IN) and threw six innings with 10 strikeouts, allowing two hits, and no runs.
INF/RHP Jeremy Yanow (Deerfield) is a polished two-way prospect who showed as well as we have ever seen him at this event. On the mound, he has an uninterrupted, athletic arm and sat 85-87 mph with a three-pitch mix. The fastball played with an average of 12.6 inches of horizontal movement while spinning at an average of 2,275 rpm. The breaking ball plays in the mid-70s with 2,175 rpm of spin on average, and the changeup gets late fade at 79-80 mph. On the infield he plays with clean, fluid, controlled actions, presents the glove and plays natural and confident on the move; throws topped at 87 mph across. At the plate, he has quick/strong hands, works level through the zone with a line-drive approach, and stays up the middle. He averaged an exit speed of 88.9 mph, with a max of 96.6, and a max batted distance of 335 feet. Yanow also ran a 7.19 in the 60-yard dash.

INF/RHP Jeremy Yanow (Deerfield, 2023) turned in a solid two-way performance at the Pullman Center. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect has a quiet, simple right-handed swing with strength through contact. Yanow stays direct to the baseball and was on the barrel to both gaps throughout his round of BP. Yanow registered a 70 percent sweet spot rate, which was top-five at the event, all while producing an average of 71.6 mph bat speed, another one of the event’s highest. Defensively, he is a steady/sound infielder with clean/athletic actions and plays with body control on the move; arm played at 83 mph across the infield. On the mound, Yanow has a stretch-only delivery that works with rhythm and a quick/athletic arm.

Arm: RH. INF - 83 mph. Long, loose, high 3/4 slot. Ball jumps out of the hand.
Defense: Sure-handed with the ability to make tough plays on the move. Range to both sides with athletic actions and body control.
