Purdue-Northwest commit had a big week on both sides of the ball last week. Getting the start on the mound in the 6-0 win against Mt. Joey DalPonte, RHP, Lockport, 2025 Purdue-Northwest commit. Athletic 6-foot-1, 170-pounds. Got the ball to start for the Porters and limited hard contact throughout his start. Simple and repeatable delivery down the mound; has some athletic bounce to him, tall/fall lower-half, lands in-line with the plate. Longer draw out of the glove, loose arm action, high ¾ slot. DalPonte world his fastball up to 86 mph, while sitting 83-85 mph with armside run, strikes. He would also go to a 65-66 mph curveball that he had feel for the zone with, while also showing a 71-74 mph changeup that showed tumbling action. Line: 4.2 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 3 BB, 2 K.
