Durable, strong 6-foot-1, 233-pound frame, proportionate strength. The right-handed hitter has easy juice in the swing with strong hands and a quick/direct stroke to the ball, peaking at 104 mph for his EV with a 98 mph average. He’s a steady defender on the dirt that profiles on either corner, showing sure-handed actions with a strong arm (T87 mph). On the mound, he has made some notable jumps with a fastball that now works up to 90 mph, cruising at 89 mph throughout his ‘pen. The curveball has shorter 11/5 shape at 75-77 mph, while the slider showed more lateral actions at 78 mph. To fill out his four-pitch mix he went to a changeup with natural fade, killing spin on the offering and playing 79-80 mph.
INF Johnny Louise (Montini Catholic, 2027) displayed some of the loudest tools at the event. Louise clocks in at a strong 6-foot-2, 217-pound frame. The right-handed hitter operates from a wide stance with strong hands. He swings with intent with loud pull-side power and a quick barrel. Louise had an average exit velocity of 93.9 mph (99.6 mph max EV) while having an average batted ball distance of 173 feet (351 ft. max) with a 73% hard hit percentage. Louise had an average bat speed of 74.3 mph (78.1 mph max) while having an average hand speed of 20.5 mph (21.6 mph max). Defensively, Louise moved well around the infield while throwing from all angles with an infield velocity of 87 mph.
Johnny Louise, 3B, Montini, 2027 Uncommitted. Strong build, 6-foot, 217-pounds with evenly distributed strength throughout. Started at third base and hit out of the five-hole for the Broncos, finishing the day a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, four RBIs and two runs scored. The right-handed hitter has a simple swing with pre-pitch rhythm, keeping his hands quiet with the ability to manipulate the barrel with ease and cover the plate, seeing the ball deep and using the whole field. He showed steady hands at third base and a quality arm across the diamond. Middle of the order profile that will look to continue to be a big piece in this Broncos lineup.

Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, slightly open stance, small leg lift with short stride. Easy strength, some feel to lift pull-side and up the middle, feel to use the whole field. 67.7 mph bat speed with 6g of rotational acceleration.

Arm: RH. INF - 84 mph. Compact, quick arm action, high ¾ slot.
Defense: Two-hand funnel into body, shuffles through to target, stays behind the baseball, reliable glove, flashes athleticism.

RHP Johnny Louise (Montini Catholic, 2027) is another incoming-sophomore that threw the ball well. The 6-foot, 200-pound righty featured a low 80’s fastball that topped at 83 mph. His best offspeed offering on the day was a 70-72 mph changeup that played in the zone 67% of the time with arm-side fade. He mixed in a 71-74 mph slider that had feel for the zone, and also showed a 68-70 mph curveball with out-pitch characteristics.
An athletic 5-foot-10, 190-pounds right handed pitcher started on the mound for Top Tier Americans against the Prospect Training Academy Cardinals. In five innings of work, Louise punched out eight batters, gave up one run on two hits and two walks. Louise used a healthy mix of three pitches. The fastball worked clean out of the hand with some life, sitting 78-80 mph throughout the outing. Playing off the fastball was an 11/5 curveball that sat 69-72 mph and a changeup sitting 68-71 mph.
