Uncommitted. In their 16-0 win over Springfield Southeast, Ingold went 2-for-2 with a double, three RBIs, two runs scored, and a walk. Rochester defeated Pekin 15-0 behind a quality all-around performance from Ingold. At the plate he went 2-for-2 with a home run, an RBI, and two runs scored. He also earned the win on the mound, throwing four innings, striking out five, walking two, and allowing no-hits or runs.
INF Lance Ingold (Rochester, 2024) was the most physically impressive prospect in attendance, standing at 6-foot-5, 220-pounds. At the plate, the imposing left-handed hitter controlled his levers, was able to stay short to the ball and elevated hard contact, leading the event with a 96.3 mph max exit velocity and 360’ max batted ball. He also turned in high-level Blast Motion numbers with 24.3 mph average hand speed and 21.3 g average rotational acceleration.
