Projectable 6-foot-4, 175-pound frame. Ludwig impressed on Thursday as he struck out seven batters through four and ⅓ innings while not allowing an earned run. The left-hander operates from a simple delivery with a high leg lift while having a tall/fall approach. Full, clean, quick arm from a ¾ slot. His fastball sat 80-83 mph with life through the zone. Mixed in a curveball that sat 66-68 mph with sharp, late actions and an 11/5 shape that produced swings/misses.
